Dec. 20—A paraglider was rescued Sunday after he got tangled up in power lines near Seventh Avenue in Rio Linda, according to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District.

Oh, boy. Rush is going to have a field day with this one.
Here’s video:
Rush actually asked the city to rename their city to Limbaugh, CA. They declined. I believe when Rush passes away, they may take up this offer.
The famous Rio Linda.
Bests scooping reindeer poop
I’m not at all suprised that the city of Rio Lindo declined Rush Limbaugh offer to take his name. I think his jokes are amusing, but a citizen from that town may not. They may think Rush is using there name instead of saying “Podunk, Appalachia, or Hooterville. And he’s been cracking on their town for over the last 20 years.
What you said.

Rio Linda isn’t actually it’s own city. It’s just a neighborhood next to McClellan airport (which old timers still call McClellan field.)
It’s a mixed bag there are some big houses, and a few cars sitting on cinder blocks, but mostly not in the front yards.
Rush’s joking reference to “those of you in Rio Linda” always seemed good natured to me, but then, I’m not from there.
I just HAVE to listen to Rush tomorrow. If I miss it for some reason, I hope somebody posts in this thread what Rush has to say about Rio Linda Santa. LOL.
