The author must think this is the 50’s and Swalwell is a Republican. What kind of deviance does he think is subject to blackmail? Sodomy? A menage a trois with Swalwell acting as catcher for another guy? Even sex with a minor is in the process of being legalized in California.

Based on the way the media continues to cover for Biden, it appears even taking bribes from the nation’s rivals is considered kosher. In the current environment, the only way Swalwell could be hurt by sexual allegations is by being #MeToo’d. But it’s a stretch that #MeToo allegations from Chinese spies would hurt him - who is going to trust Chinese spies?

He’s a Democrat. That would probably raise his poll numbers. Shows he’s open to new experiences.
