Fauci’s wording is troublesome, yet benign. He has no legal clout. Neither do the governors who shape his words into edicts. Both they and their edicts are more troublesome.
The governors’ edicts are not laws. Laws have to be passed by state legislatures. Which states have passed lockdown laws? Mask laws?
