Pfizer issued a statement late Thursday saying the company isn’t having issues in production or distribution.
Pfizer had reported some production issues with the vaccine, U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Alex Azar said on Wednesday, Reuters reported.
“Pfizer is not having any production issues with our COVID-19 vaccine, and no shipments containing the vaccine are on hold or delayed. This week, we successfully shipped all 2.9 million doses that we were asked to ship by the U.S. Government to the locations specified by them. We have millions more doses sitting in our warehouse but, as of now, we have not received any shipment instructions for additional doses,” the company said in a statement.
So, why the heck is this about.
It’s about the state governments. I knew this was going to happen Trump was in charge of federal. States have to tell them where it goes.

And you are correct. Governors prioritize within the state. some are stupider than others.

This is about Pfizer and their Chicom friends trying to make Trump look bad. Everything that can be shipped is being shipped as fast as the pipeline will accept it. The equipment required to store and transport this stuff isn’t exactly an open truck with a couple of cakes of dry ice. Take out the politics and it simply means that the next batch is about to ship, but they want to try not to give Trump any credit. I for one intend to give that same degree of support to all the RINO’s who have failed to support Trump.
This stuff should have been in place months ago. They KNEW it was to be stored cold. Someone has dropped the ball.

This is just the beginning of GOVERNMENT SCREWUPS as they “manage” prioritization of vaccine recipients and vaccine distribution.
The smarter thing would be for the government to “manage” the distribution for medical workers and longterm care facility patients. SIMULTANEOUSLY, they can have one or more of the vaccine makers distribute vaccine to commercial vendors (e.g., Costco, CVS) with instructions on who can get it. The initial vaccination criteria could be something like “over age 74” and “recipients of prescribed insulin injections”. As time goes on, that criteria can be gradually expanded (e.g., over age 69) as vaccine supply & demand allow. The vendors and vaccine providers would be responsible for managing availability and timely supply of the 2nd doses.
Pfizer just say it that the Dems are leaving this stuff in warehouses but no they have to turn it around to blame Trump

Two weeks after receiving a second coronavirus vaccine shot, a person who was vaccinated will receive a green passport.
[Israel’s] Health Minister Yuli Edelstein confirmed on Wednesday that coronavirus green passports are on their way. “Two weeks after the second shot, a person who was vaccinated will receive a green passport,” he said during a Labor, Welfare and Health Committee meeting on Wednesday, speaking of the document which is intended to prove that its holder has been vaccinated and will give those who have it certain benefits and freedoms.
Edelstein said that while he could not yet give all the details of how the passports would work, he could confirm that “it will free people from isolation [requirement]” and it would “allow [people] to enter places that will still be restricted to other populations. It will be a difficult logistical operation,” he added.MK Ophir Sofer said that the green passport would be an excellent tool for encouraging the population to get vaccinated

As I ask in the original, I thought Trump stated many many times a General was in charge of distribution and it would be very fast. So, I don’t understand why we have vaccines sitting in a warehouse at the manufacture .
Far as I know, here in Fl things seem to be running OK. I saw an article today that a physician in our small local hospital was innoculated. Some vaccine is being distributed for use in long term care places too. Of course the press who is on Desantis neck everyday are not going to tout this.

I think the President has had little direct control of the general staff of the military since the events of June 1st, 2020.
