Senate Republicans will continue to monitor alleged election fraud before Congress counts Electoral College votes on Jan. 6, according to Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., on Newsmax TV.
Asked if he would be willing to join a House member in objecting to the Electoral College vote, Scott was noncommittal when answering host Greg Kelly on Wednesday night’s "Greg Kelly Reports.”
"We’ll see," said Scott, a member of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee that met earlier in the day. "I think today was an important day. I think Chairman [Sen.] Ron Johnson [R-Wis.] did a good job. He held an important hearing today. We heard from [former independent counsel] Ken Starr and then we heard from some individuals that gave us some information about what was going on in a couple of these states, what happened in Wisconsin and what happened in Nevada.”
Rep. Moe Brooks, R-Ala., said Monday he plans to challenge the certification of the Electoral College votes on Jan. 6 when the Senate and the House of Representatives meet in a joint session. At least one senator must join Brooks to force a vote on the matter. Will Scott or another Republican join the congressman?

Wow! Rick Scott said that???
Don’t read too much into it.....................
“We’ll see”
Gosh, he really put it all out there, didn’t he?
What do you expect him to say? He knows nothing is going to come of the challenges, so you want him to say “Sure, I’ll fall on my sword even though it will accomplish nothing”?
“Will Scott or another Republican join the congressman?”
He better, they all better. We the voters are watching.
For those of us who still have some fight and us and haven’t curled up in a Doomer fetal position, it’s time to start writing to every Republican member of Congress. Some (or most) will ignore us, but if we can get as many wafflers to come over, the better.
As much as we want to know NOW! Best that they all keep their powder dry until the Joint Session
An eloquently crafted template would be extremely useful for those of us who are not so gifted with words. ;-)
He was less than convincing. Dems don’t have to fear about any of this distasteful stuff was the way I took it.
Just one more laughingstock who’ll be glad to have sand kicked in our faces, again.
Even if there is a challenge, the House is not going to get a majority vote to disqualify the electors. It is all theater at this point.
Consider the source... he’s a limp-wristed, pansy GOPe loser, just like the rest of them.
Once they start counting votes
it will be too late to turn this
thing around. The time to “Release
the Kracken” is NOW!
“We the voters are watching.”
Really?
You think voters figure into the calculation any longer?
I don’t think he’s all in with the Swamp. He came in as a relative outsider in the era of Trump. Doesn’t mean he’ll do the right thing but it means he’s someone who is capable of it. I suggest the people gather outside of the capitol and be ready to storm it if necessary.
He was Governor of Florida and before that he was CEO of Columbia Hospital Corporation/HCA
To allow the open and unabashed stealing of an election, any election, is a slap in the face of humanity and human rights in general.
For far too long, a social media enabled Leftist movement has moved onward, undeterred from their goal acting as pompous arses, Senators, Representatives and Democrats in general.
Words are cheap, Will one senator object? There should be 100 of them protesting the results.
But most are muted, wimps from another planet where Left is always right and getting along is good enough for them.
To those who seek to surrender and continue on as if nothing had happened, do us a favor, just resign.

Also, if someone has a copy-and-paste list of all of the Congress members we need to write, that would be great.
I've found if people (including myself) are provided with a letter template and an easily copied and pasted e-mail list, they are more willing to do it, since then it only takes about 30 seconds to do.
