More than a dozen House Republicans reached out to President Trump to urge him to veto a $1.4 trillion omnibus spending bill being hammered out in Congress, slamming it as an example of “swamp politics,” according to a report.
The letter, sent to the White House on Wednesday and obtained by Fox News, calls it a “take-it-or-leave-it bill, negotiated behind closed doors” that “expands government, spends at record levels well above 2011 base cap levels, and funds unnecessary or even harmful federal programs.”
Negotiations on the omnibus bill are expected to continue Thursday as Congress faces a midnight Friday deadline to pass the spending measure to prevent a government shutdown...

The Republic is about to fall.
Vetoing spending bills is the least of our problem.
Trump shouldn’t put his name to anything other than pardons and to second amendment and self defense protections. He has no leverage to get any deals favorable to him or us.
Do it.
Hope the president keeps his word and vetoes it.
Horrible deal.
