EXCLUSIVE: The 2020 Intelligence Community Assessment focused on foreign election influence will be delayed, Fox News has learned, amid a dispute among senior intelligence analysts over whether China sought to influence the election.
"This afternoon the DNI was notified by career intelligence officials that the Intelligence Community will not meet the December 18 deadline, set by Executive Order and Congress, to submit the IC’s classified assessment on foreign threats to the 2020 U.S. elections," Amanda Schoch, Assistant DNI for Strategic Communications said in a statement to Fox News.
DNI RATCLIFFE, FBI SAY IRAN, RUSSIA ATTEMPTING TO INTERFERE WITH 2020 ELECTION
"The IC has received relevant reporting since the election and a number of agencies have not finished coordinating on the product," Schoch continued. "The DNI is committed to providing this report to our customers expeditiously."
The report was expected to be released by Friday, but sources familiar told Fox News that there is a dispute within the intelligence community over what should be included in this 2020 ICA.
Sources told Fox News that a number of senior intelligence analysts are "adamant" that China sought to influence the 2020 presidential election, while a number of others are downplaying China’s activities surrounding the election.
Some analysts claim that China’s efforts were "minimal" or only plans that ultimately were not acted upon, while others are arguing there is "ample raw intelligence" about China’s intentions and actions.
Bloomberg first reported the dispute.
When asked where Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe stands, a senior intelligence official told Fox News that "all that Ratcliffe wants is for the intelligence to be reflected accurately and honestly with regard to China and everything else."
An intelligence official with experience in analytic disputes told Fox News that "proper analytic tradecraft would stipulate that when there are competing views like this, that both views should..."

IMHO, COVID-19 was/is intended as election interference. It was meant to create problems for Trump and “opportunities” for the DemocRATS.
Fire them, one after the other Saturday night massacre style, until the next in line immediately releases a preliminary report.
............there must be thousands of “analysts” in the 17 “Intelligence” Agencies.
In a million years they would never ALL agree on anything.
Ratcliffe and Trump must listen to both sides and make a decision.
Millions of American lives are at stake for God’s sake!
They’re all on the TAKE from CCP !!!!!
Screw them!! Give the report NOW !!!
Trump should tell Ratcliff: Find out which of your boys are traitors. You have 72 hours. I expect the report on my desk at 9am Monday or your resignation
Or, maybe, Ratcliffe is doing the job Trump gave him and meeting tremendous resistance from the Deep State slow-walking the intel.
Let’s not shoot absolutely everyone just yet.
My guess is that the intel already exists and if released would show that there are many treasonous acts and hostile foreign interference. China seems to have quite a bit of control over the voting machine technology and we all know that they possess resources for large-scale hacking and data acquisition.
This election was as crooked as a three dollar bill.
And two thirds of the political class were in on that. The proof will come out one day. That day should be soon, like before January 5th (when Congress verifies the Electoral College results).
In many cases, the only question is this — traitor or coward?
And why so? Blackmail? Extortion? All of this information that China harvests through its various activities (and they want to do even more of it) can no doubt yield interesting information about powerful people. If those powerful people see that the information is in hostile hands, can they be trusted to act in the national interest? Or are they only interested in protecting themselves from public disclosure?
In 2008, I was a network admin on a specific DoD secure network. All packets were inspected at the router level, and security devices. Somehow, we were getting unauthorized entry into a very secure DoD network. It was later determined that the Cisco routers were the culprits, and that the Chinese had managed to get their hands on the Cisco routers as they were being shipped to the DoD. They installed their own “backdoor” chip, which was similar to a chip that was on the circuit board, and appeared exactly the same as the chip that Cisco used, however, this modified chip allowed the Chinese, unfettered and unmonitored access to the DoD network. It wasn’t the highest level security network, but nonetheless, it was a wake-up call to the DoD to be very careful to not use routers where the chips were manufactured in China, nor to use Cisco routers, unless a chain of custody was maintained between Cisco and the DoD receiving department.
Now we know that these electronic voting machines are computer based, and are connected to networks. It is the height of idiocy to have not plugged this obvious security risk. It is in fact, criminal negligence, if nothing else. Moreover, we know that systems which are not on any network can be accessed, remotely, using sophisticated methods known to state intelligence agencies for over a decade. The mere presence of a large number of Chinese microchips should render these machines incapable of being trusted.
IMHO, this cheating has been going on for some years, and is likely the reason that the politicians have lost all fear of passing legislation that is highly unpopular amongst their constituents. The incumbents do not fear any repercussions from the voters for anything they do. We either take back our government, or we need to abolish it. The first step is to demand an end to electronic voting machines, of any kind. Mail in ballots only for those who can show ID and for good cause. Video surveillance should be installed at all polling places, such that facial recognition should match up the voter’s face. Also, insofar as ballot counters are concerned, we need surveillance cameras on a par with the cameras that are used in casinos to catch cheaters. None of these things would cost a fortune, nor would they be difficult to implement, should the people demand it.
Our government’s “experts” can easily tell the Congress and the President, and the liberal media, *false* info re the points of IP traffic origin.
China uses other countries’ servers. As do several countries using other countrie’s servers. Thus, a government “expert” can pick and choose from whatever is necessary to fit the data that satisfies a political force.
It is becoming a problem because of IP addresses assigned to Microsoft, thence to Microsoft Azure users. There is much more traffic and increasing obscurity to be sorted thru.
Presently, the Chinese (and also probably a few “musliim countries”) are using a lot of servers in Italy. And there was a significant boost in that activity, leading up to Thanksgiving and then the week after.
The FBI does not tell that to the liberal media. Instead, the FBI tells the liberal media about “Russian servers” -— implying more “Russia Russia.”
No Congressman bothers to go find a room with servers and firewall monitoring, and then sits over the necessary days/weeks - studying the administrations of the routers guarding the gates.
The “leadership” could see, but they won’t; just like they won’t see the Dominion evidence.
Speaking for a friend. (The above message has been altered to protect the innocent.)
Trump: At 0800 on Friday morning, I want either your reports on my desk or your resignations. Your choice.
Guess intel doesn’t know who why and where covid originated and how it came here at a critical time. Just like they never knew India and Pakistan were developing nukes. Or that foreigners were learning to fly but not land jets.
