Hey, guys, I found out the true facts in the Breonna Taylor case!

Remember the “botched raid” (New York Times) on Breonna’s apartment in Louisville, Kentucky, last March, when police officers killed this innocent black woman as she slept peacefully in her bed?

Yes, apparently, without announcing themselves, the police smashed in the front door of the WRONG APARTMENT. Their warrant was for a man Breonna had dated eons ago and barely knew anymore, and whom they already had in custody! Assuming the police were home invaders, Breonna’s boyfriend pulled out a gun — again, police were at the WRONG APARTMENT — whereupon the officers opened fire, killing Breonna and wounding one of their own in friendly fire.

You probably won’t believe this, but it turns out, none of that is true.

Movies like The Godfather and The Sopranos portray the women of mobsters as nice innocent doves who either are willfully ignorant of their husband's nefarious deeds or are disapproving but trapped. I think Goodfellows got it right. In that true story the women were attracted to the mobsters because they were mobsters. They had the rolls of cash and the fancy clothes and everyone kissed their butts and the women loved being treated like queens because they were with a guy everyone literally feared. When they had to, in an emergency they helped their mobster husbands and boyfriends and lied for them to boot.

Totally believable that Taylor was doing all that too. Also believable that she was the brains of the operation, frankly.

Breonna Taylor was a dirt bag money collector and drug delivery person who used her apartment as the mail drop for mail order drug delivieries.

She was a key player and surrogate gang leader for her jailed king pin boy friend and she had been for at least 5 years.

She delivered the crack cocaine, meth, fentanyl, heroine, PCP and other very dangerous drugs that poisoned minority neighborhoods and destroyed many families and the lives of people, including young children
