What happens on Jan. 6 is a separate question. For now, we have a win for now. If on Jan. 20, Quid Pro is sworn in, we still have this triumph for today, and a good fight ahead. Celebrate each small victory, and fill yourself with lust for that jugular vein at the end of the tunnel. And smile, smile, smile.

And on this issue constitution says if state legislature determines that the election was fraudulent or had other issues, the STATE legislators get to pick their own electors.

You are wrong.

The Constitution says, State Legislatures appoint their Electors, PERIOD.

Your problem is that the State Legislatures of Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia, and Arizona are appointing Biden electors.

The statement that these phony electors are "appointed by State Legislatures" is a lie.

The US constitution gives the STATE LEGISLATURES the power to discard the elected electors based on a fraud state election (by their own determination, not a court decision) and send their own chosen electors to DC on Jan 6th

Of course it does.

It's just that they have not and will not do that.

failed to stop the Legislators in her state from submitting a competing list of Electoral College voters

When did the Michigan Legislature do that?

"Legislators" cannot do that. The whole Legislature, acting by a Joint Resolution, can do what you want.

Where is that resolution? Where can we read it?

Does it alarm anyone that Turtle has congratulated Chyyynah-Biden?

Of course not!

What did you imagine he, and McCarthy, and eventually Pence, would do?

Next News Network has footage of legislators appointing electors. It happened on TV. That means it’s true.

Believe that, or listen to Biden drone on about how we have to unify behind the will of the people because democracy has fallen and can’t get up. True, if you hope and believe in one hand, and sh!t in the other, one of those two hands will be filled first. But note my tag line. Here’s a sweet song to help you avoid despair.

Did those legislators pass a Joint Resolution, by majorities in the Michigan House and the Michigan Senate, appointing Trump electors?

Of course they didn't.

Not alarmed, not surprised, just disgusted at how many people in power are not for America first. These people in power are making a good living with exporting middle class jobs, and they are not going to support someone like Trump who could reduce their money and power.

Both interesting and hopeful. Take that, John "There will be riots" Roberts!

Hopefully, these renegade electors will be certified by their GOP legislatures and not get the Savannah, Georgia version of the "Plomo o Plata" treatment.

PING!

More than two schools of thought I bet... a lot of people are staying silent given the fraught sentiments on display.

My expectation is that the “President Trump + MAGA Party or Tea Party v2. 0” faction will split in two.

One group will accept nothing less than instalment of President Trump for a second term. The longer this is frustrated, the bigger their list of Deep State Enablers (who’ll be either directly held responsible for the Steal, or deemed guilty by association) due for a Reckoning. The longer it goes without President Trump confirmed for a second term, the bigger the list of actors they’ll be gunning for.

The other group holds the same belief but recognizes that the future - perhaps a new party, discussing President Trump’s successor and team - is just as important if not more important.

There’s no point reinstalling President Trump in a system that is so overwhelmingly convinced that he didn’t “win” the popular vote, or win on a legal technicality, or win by Electoral College. It isn’t enough to put him back in the White House on Inauguration Day AND keep him in there AND give him four years to fix anything. Without additional action he’ll be hamstrung.

This raises a serious question about how to convert the moral victory of reinstatement into a successful second term.

The first group is quite happy to see Trump installed but could care less what happens after inauguration so long as the end result neutralises the Deep State. This begs the question, what would an effective and systematic demolition of the Deep State look like in practical terms? How can it be done? Who will do it?

To the second group, and I’m happy to say I’m in it, alarm bells are ringing because it is so difficult to see how the first group can get what it wants without a borderline Stalinist approach. After all, to kill off the Deep State surely you need to disempower all dissenting voices especially judges, lawyers, politicians, civil servants, critical voices in the MSM, pinko celebrities and lobby groups. In all states. And follow the money, and confiscate it. And outlaw dissident leftist groups. Shop Thy Neighbor.

That implies: massive expansion of Federal powers over States powers; suspensions of Habeas Corpus, the right to assembly, and Due Process; the end of Free Speech for liberals.

Stalin would’ve approved.

Sportsman’s bet: in one months time those folks in the first camp will be expecting the Army, the Navy, the Air Force, the FBI, NSA and whoever else to back Trump and they will all be VERY sorely disappointed.

Becayse every single one of those institutions will take one long look at what action would be needed not just to put Trump back in the Oval Office, but keep him there.

Morally, Donald Trump may deserve a second term. But is tgat more important than the oath to secure FREEDOM? Is it okay to tear up several hardwired inalienable rights in order to give conservatives the President they want?

I have no idea what will happen if the entire military establishment accept Biden as their new CIC without a shot being fired. One group will be totally unsurprised because they love the Constitution too much to elevate even their chosen man above it, the other has to ask itself how far it is prepared to tear up the Constitution to get the leader it wants.

Guys in the first group: reality check. If Biden is Inaugurated with military support, you will have to choose between reinstating Trump by paramilitary means, and retaining a semblance of a Free Republic.

There will be no third option. And if Trump has even a tenth of the integrity you say he has, he will not cooperate with a coup that will tear up far more of the Written Constitution than the Deep State has tinkered with the unwritten parts.

I think in order for Trump to have a second term in 2024, he’ll have to concede the WH for now and run again then. And he’ll need a paramilitary force to keep him alive and free until then. The Stalinists will be looking to Trotsky-ize him any way they can, either fake charges or an assassination by deep state operatives. To stop this, he must leave the US for Israel, and have bodyguards he can trust. And the faithful will have to survive and make trouble, too, in his absence. No coups, just troublemaking. That starts in the installation process with the alternative electors, but continues even if that fails. Like Robinhood in Sherwood Forest ‘til King Richard’s return, helping those that Biden’s goons will victimize and thereby keeping them loyal.

Constitutionally the legislature determines how electors are chosen. In the past election that was done by the voters. If there is to be a competing slate of electors then the legislature has to chose them. Yesterday none of them did.

The text of the relevant part of Article II section 1 is:

Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress...

Thus it is the legislatures job to direct the process, not to necessarily implement the process or certify electors unless they had already decided that they were the ones to implement the process and certify electors. It is not necessarily their job to enforce it (although it would be nice if they would). I suppose in theory the legislature could have declared that the process was not followed and declared a new process after the fact in which they simply picked the electors themselves. But just because they did not do this does not make it magically the case that the manner they directed was not violated. They do not have to take some action to make the electors that were certified illegitimate.

It would have been nice if the Supreme Court weighed in, but they chickened out. And the state courts are part of the problem.

So come Jan 6th the certified electors will be illegitimate in these states, even though they were certified. And on those grounds the election could be contested per the 12th Amendment.

And therein would be the salvation of the country. The Stalinists are Stalinists already. Give them four years of license under Kommie/Biden, and the People will be thoroughly alienated by the disregard of their ancient rights of free speech and keeping and bearing arms, their heavy-handed regulation of the economy, high taxes, and their takeover of health care. In comes Trump again in 2024, and the people will flock to him. No morphing into Stalinists, just purging the real Stalinists, who by then will be universally hated. King Richard returns from the holy land. Robin and his merry men are knighted for their service to the forgotten men and women in his absence, and his vexation of Prince Joe the usurper. Maid Maryanne gives him a sloppy wet kiss. The end.

But if there’s a constitutional way to have Trump have a second term right now, the hell with it. He really did win.
