Hey radu!

We could get snow anytime but still not cold enough to break out the long-johns yet. (You Southerners do know what long-johns are, right? 😁)

I was a lazy bum today, nothing much happening.

Yes, we southerners know what long-johns are. LOL I have some. It wasn’t all that cold temperature-wise today but I was tempted to wear them when I left to run a couple of errands. The air’s really damp and the wind was pushing through my clothing. Not comfortable at all.

I had to go over to the other house a little while ago and the wind’s cutting like a knife tonight.

We spend our time in, dreaming of our loved ones. We think no one knows the times we deal with. It’s totally wrong. I was underway, under water with my wife and folks scared to death for me while I sat on my butt feeling sorry for myself. This while my friends and classmates worked in the jungle in Southeast Asia. You think your screwed? Wait till the man tells you to fall out and draw ammo. Dad was 82nd and I was navy submarines, my boy a navy Airedale and daughter air traffic control USAF. There ain’t no easy run.

Howdy, luvie.

Any improvement in your weather/

It’s been downright u-g-l-y here today and tonight.
I’m ready for Spring! LOL

LOL! Short winter for you, huh. You have my ugly from yesterday. Today was a bit warmer, and though we had a wind advisory, it never got very bad.

The 3rd kitty bed got here today, so I put it in the carrier on the front porch for Li’l Bit or whoever wants to use it. Peaches has been known to sleep there is I leave him out for quite a while. It’s another brown plush one.

We didn’t have winds as strong as your but it was windy enough to hurt when I was out this afternoon and when I walked over to the other house this evening.
I just don’t like cold weather at all. Anything below 60 degrees, I can do without. LOL

Great! Glad the third kitty bed showed up. Now to see if Li’l Bit will use it. Are any of the others using the beds you got last week?

Yes, I believe they are using them. Sugar especially likes the one I placed in their rain-barrel bed. Not sure who takes advantage of the one in the carrier on the patio. I just found that Peaches had been snugged up in the on on the front porch when I went to let him in. LOL! No telling where Li’l Bit goes. But I hope she or one of the others will use it when Peaches is inside overnight.

That must have been some wind for it to hurt so when you had to go out in it. Hope the cold spell doesn’t last for long. Ours is just about over. They did have some nice snow in JH today.

Leave it to Peaches to snag the new bed right off the bat. LOL I hope Li’l Bit shows up and claims it now that he’s inside.

The wind wasn’t blowing really hard. Nothing like you had. It’s just that when the air’s so humid, any amount of wind is uncomfortable. Seems to go through clothing no matter what you’re wearing.

We’re supposed to warm up a little by the weekend. Low 50s instead of 40s. As long as it isn’t too windy, that won’t be too bad.

Crazy people out there at JH, out there on the mountain in the cold and snow. LOL That’s sit-in-front-of-a-fireplace weather.

My time there was in 1974. I had a blast during my stay, great memories. I do remember the fried baloney for breakfast, I guess the chow never improved. USAF EOD Ret.

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

What kind of fun did Gizmo run up on yesterday? More mole tunnels to dig into? Smelly spots to roll in? LOL

((LOL))Well, we had a great trip to Comanche Lake yesterday and I was able to get one of the better head shots yet of Gizmo.

Something Giz always likes to do is hide under the brush at the bridge overlook at the pavilion.

We had a great time yesterday. The rest of the pics....

We'll see how things go today. We plan on doing Chsiolm Trail Park later today.

I think this is the first time I’ve seen him hidden in the brush. LOL He’s usually sniffing around along the edges of the tall grass.

It looks like he had quite the adventurous day. I hope y’all have a great time at Chisolm Trail Park today.

If I had to live there, sitting in front of the fire would be ALL I’d do. LOL! I am not a snow person. Our son mentioned that they might be moving to College Station, TX by 2022, so I guess we won’t have to move up there after all. :)

Humidity really does make the cold feel worse, for sure. It’s like it clings to you like a cold wet blanket. I know you’ll be glad to see the 50s again. That’s about what we had to day and it wasn’t too bad. Well, without the wind to make it seem worse.

Darn. I was hoping they’d move to TX sooner than that. You probably were too. But if it’s “by” 2022, that’s just a year away. :-)

I like wind during summer but not this time of year. It would have been pretty chilly today without wind but since we did have it, it just wasn’t pleasant at all. I hope it isn’t windy tomorrow because I’m going to do the grocery shopping. It’s going to rain Wed. and I don’t like hauling dripping bags into the house. I wish your 50s were going to be here but we have a few days to wait.

Gooood mornin', Early Birds!
Great roadtrip, huh!
Maryland has a LOT of navy guys, it seems.
Hope if you're in the path of the dreaded nor'easter
...that you remain safe and warm!
All we have is nasty allergy-producing wind. Ahhh-CHOOO!
Have a Terrific Tuesday!
((((hugs))))
