Health and Human Services chief Alex Azar predicted that all of the nation’s nursing home residents could be vaccinated against the coronavirus as soon as Christmas on Sunday — as the first doses of the vaccine began shipping from Pfizer’s Michigan manufacturing plant.
“The vaccines are going out as soon as they receive the vaccine. This is according to the governors telling us to ship to them,” Azar said on CBS News’ “Face the Nation.”
“We can have every nursing home patient vaccinated in the United States by Christmas. It’s really a remarkable, remarkable prospect for all of us who have loved ones in nursing homes so that we may approach Christmas with that level of comfort that our loved ones have gotten some initial protection already,” he said.

So when a 90-year-old man, overweight, diabetic, smoked all his life, with heart disease, and stage II cancer finally dies, how will they blame it on Covid?

I've never gotten a flu shot, nor ever had the flu, despite two decades taking the NYC subway daily. I don't see why I would need to get a COVID shot either.
If you have serious co-morbidities or other concerns, I would certainly understand your reason.
Some guardians of persons I know say NO WAY will their wards be vaccinated on the first round and be used as Guineau Pigs.
Not sure one will not be forced to take it in order to do certain activities, flying, cruising and such!!!
Nobody dies of anything but covid in 2020. Car crashes, falling off a cliff, sticking skittles up your nose, all caused by covid.

Tiny bit misleading as to be fully protected you would need 2 shots. Technically, I suppose you could be “vaccinated” without being fully protected but most people would assume the two are roughly equivalent.
What if the vaccine causes sterility???

No way in Hell that I’m taking a poison vaccination for a virus with over a 99% survival rate.
If you are high risk, then I can understand your willingness to risk the vaccine.
Sweden and Belarus are to be commended for not surrendering to panic and propaganda. They followed the science.
