Moments ago, Michigan state judge Kevin Elensheimer ordered the release of a redacted report on the results of an examination of the Dominion voting machines in Antrim County, Michigan.
The results had been shielded by a protective order, but this morning, Judge Elensheimer removed that order, clearing the way for the audit results to go public.

This is NOT how you validate software.
You have to see the source code. You have to examine the code to make sure it doesn’t have any trapdoors or backdoors.
You have to build the software and make a ‘fingerprint’ By creating a checksum.
Then you have to make sure that software when rebuilt generates the same fingerprint.
Then you can check to make sure that same software is correctly installed on each machine.
SOURCE CODE IS EVERYTHING!!! Without it you can’t validate anything!
Anyone creating public software like voting machines must understand this when they begin.
There is absolutely nothing that can be proprietary, or needs to be...

As I understand it, the forensic examination included the source code. The just is just ordering the source be redacted from the public report.

Sounds like the title of this article may be wrong, as the audit has already taken place. But there was an order, placed by the judge, that prohibited release of the findings. I think the judge okayed the release of their findings. Not that a new audit take place.
