Wow only 8%. The NFL will learn absolutely nothing from all of this. Why should they? They obviously weren’t hurt if 8% was the extent of their “punishment”. They can and will blame the slight drop in viewership on the COVID situation. Expect them to go full speed with the BLM/SJW schtick next year.

My grandmothers nursing home flag football team could be the Jets.
Put up my Christmas tree and did other things. Watching the NFL certainly has not been on my priority list since last season.
Screw’em and all the BLM activity.

I didn’t even notice.
I haven’t watched a singe game this season. I assume that the 8% decline involves tv viewership only and does not include the loss of fans at the games. The combination of the two has to be an enormous drain on the coffers of the NFL. Perhaps many fans that bought season tickets last year will now realize that there are much more satisfying uses for the money they spent on tickets. Perhaps many husband/wife ticket buyers have now learned that it is much better to spend the money on activities that involve their children also and will continue to do so in the future. Yeah, perhaps the entire family used the money that was spent on NFL season tickets and went on a vacation and everyone had a great time.
I don’t think the boycotts will ultimately hurt the NFL. I am not boycotting the NFL. I just have not cared to watch it since the kneeling started. I doubt I will ever watch again even if they do a 180°. I have learned that I can live without sports and that they are nothing but a waste of time.
For me, watching the NFL was just a habit. Not watching for a while created a new habit. Don’t miss it at all. I found out that I really don’t care. It’s just a stupid game.
Why is ANYONE still watching this WOKE disaster (aka the NFL ) ?

I think there was a face saving agreement. If New York agreed to show up and play, they would be allowed to score 3 points.
