The guy moved from nursing home to nursing home from what I understand.
So it would not have been the same coroner. And apparently most elderly deaths are not investigated anyway.

That looks like a fancy facility. Do they not I-9 their new hires?
States (or Congress or both) need to pass a law that all heathcare workers need a fingerprint/background check prior to hiring. If we do it for those that work with kids, why don’t we do it with those that work with defenseless elderly?

I don't get why anyone would ever send their elders to a nursing home.You are lacking in imagination and/or empathy.
Some people simply don't want to be bothered with the crazy-azz antics of these mean old b*tches and b*astards. They are fed up!
Some people have legitimate beefs with their "elders" - years of abuse and/or neglect during childhood, decades of passive-aggressive drama as young / mature adults.

People are living longer now. Sometimes well into the 90s. Their children are seniors too and many of them suffer health problems and are unable to tend to the care of the parents. If the family does not have the funds or big enough homes to have round the clock care, they often have no choice.
Wise to not pass judgement in a blanket sort of way.

Society as a whole is at fault. Why does our society staff these facilities with illegal aliens who engage in such abusive practices? Why is their no outrage and action taken to make sure that the people who work in these facilities are qualified professionals and not criminals?
