Since Texas was an independent sovereign nation when it jointed the USA it can leave the USA and once again be an independent sovereign nation anytime it wants. All it has to do under international law is announce the agreement between the USA and Texas is null and void. And then wait the required time period (two years IIRC).
Texas also has it own electric grid, its own ports, and it own air force!

Is this new "government" going to guarantee military pensions and VA benefits? Social Security for the elderly? Etc.? Do they have that all figured out?
I guarantee many of those older folks cheering the tweet haven't thought about that - but they will if it were to come to fruition...and the Fed$ stop coming - and they would - because 70% of all the nations GDP comes from the counties Biden won (even though SOME of those counties are in Red states like Harris in TX).

A practical alternative based on liberal precedence: sanctuary cities and states. Liberals have had such for years rejecting both federal immigration law and drug law. And there are already Second Amendment and pro-life sanctuaries.
