China and Pakistan have signed an agreement to deepen defence cooperation between the all-weather allies amid rising tensions with India.
China’s Defence Minister Gen Wei Fenghe on Monday held talks with Pakistan Army chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa and discussed regional security issues.
Both “exchanged in-depth views on the international and regional situations, the relations between the two countries and militaries, the equipment and technology cooperation and other issues”, a report in China’s official media said.
While details of the new MoU were not immediately available, it follows another agreement signed last year, when China’s Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC) General Xu Qiliang visited Rawalpindi for defence cooperation and “capacity building of the Pakistan Army”.

Doesn’t this unbalance the tensions on the region. India and China had no significant reasons (other than territorial skirmishes which can get hot fast if not managed) to go to war, and while Pakistan and India have long reached a regional stalemate, I don’t see that Pakistan wouldn’t love to exercise destabilization if they felt they had a big brother bully by their side.
I would love to see India kick the livin daylights out of China.
I bet China has promised Pakistan to solve their Kashmir (and possibly Bangladesh) “problems” once and for all; just like Sultan Erdogan helped Azerbaijan put those pesky Armenians back in their place.
Meanwhile, Pockystan is fine with the way that China treats its Muslims.
Can you just imagine what the Islamist would be doing if a western country were placing muslims into re-education camps the way China is doing? We know the answer.

There is only one problem with Chinese armies arriving in India to help Packistawny army. The world’s largest mountain hinders movement of mechanized vehicles from China into India.
