Monday, Gov. Tim Walz is expected to announce whether he will extend current COVID-19 restrictions past Dec. 18.

KSTP's Tom Hauser received confirmation from the governor's office that the announcement is set to take place Monday. Originally, officials said the announcement could happen Friday.

Walz is expected to discuss whether restrictions for certain businesses, gatherings and youth sports will be extended.

SOB was supposed to make his pronouncement. tomorrow. Now, he decides to let us twist in the wind until Monday. This tells me that there is no way in hell that he is going to take his knee off of our necks until at least after the New Year.

I concur, except when the topic is about Minnesota. All news about my state is embarrassing.

Some of the counties on the East coast sound like they could be British. States should be noted, and masks should be worn.

Comrade Herr Walz wanted one last “nice” weekend for himself before he bangs his hammer down again and refuses to even listen to the “deniers”. He wants to mingle with his equals sans mask for a little holiday party probably before he goes before the cameras and declare his stay at home order, again!

I have a couple of suggestions for Walz.

Try to smile once in a while.

Ever since this started, he has always had a “WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!” look on his face.

For his press conferences, try using closed captioning for the hearing impaired.

I have tried to watch a couple of his pressers, but I couldn’t get past the non-binary, shaved headed, Marcel Marceau wanna be jumping jack person that signs for the deaf.

I couldn’t hear anything he said because I was laughing so hard.

Of course Walz will extend it. He loves the power and control over a disease with a 99% recovery rate. I’ve been waiting for the Fauci/Walz surge two weeks after Thanksgiving. Not seeing it. Also not seeing a reduction in Covid despite a large amount of citizens wearing masks - they must not work.
