Pennsylvania issues blistering rebuke of Texas' lawsuit seeking to invalidate millions of votes

Pennsylvania officials on Thursday filed a blistering brief at the Supreme Court rebuking the Texas lawsuit seeking to overturn President Donald Trump's defeat in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, casting the move as using a "cacophony of bogus claims" to support a "seditious abuse of the judicial process."

"Texas seeks to invalidate elections in four states for yielding results with which it disagrees. Its request for this Court to exercise its original jurisdiction and then anoint Texas's preferred candidate for President is legally indefensible and is an affront to principles of constitutional democracy," wrote Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro.

The lawsuit, the court filing said, rested on a "surreal alternate reality."

"Texas's effort to get this Court to pick the next President has no basis in law or fact. The Court should not abide this seditious abuse of the judicial process, and should send a clear and unmistakable signal that such abuse must never be replicated."

...an affront to principles of constitutional democracy," wrote Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro.

Think about that...a State's Attorney General doesn't know
that America is a Constitutional Republic.

He could have said..."an affront to principles of constitutional republicanism"...but didn't.

That's a pretty good indicator of a failed education system's
teaching of civics...up to and including law school.

PA Speaker of the House, Bryan Cutler was joined by PA House majority leader, Kerry Benninghoff in filing an amici curiae brief AGAINST the State of Pennsylvania and in favor of Texas’ application for relief.

Nice.

The rogue d-bag AG doesn't speak for the people of PA nor does the counterfeit PA electors. They should put some ointment on it.

“Blistering”

“Rebuke”

Nope. No bias there.

To claim the lawsuit is baseless because Texas is merely “disagreeing” with the results in the four states in question is a cop-out. The Lone Star State could very easily sue all the states Biden carried because it didn’t like the outcome, but the lawsuit is limiting itself to states where the integrity and constitutionality of the election were violated.

PA’s response seems a lot like: “Everyone else is cheating, and so I cheated too. But since we are all cheating, it doesn’t really count as cheating.”

What evidence do the Democrats have to support their assertion that the claims are bogus? And, exactly what is "seditious" abuse?

Are these Democrats aware of the Pennsylvania State laws in connection with elections?

Are they aware that the Pennsylvania legislature is the sole source of election law?

They have a few more hours to submit a responsible defense instead of their hysterical claims! It is their own irresponsible and unjustified changes to the law that put them in this fix.
