It’s like a scene from a dystopian movie. Antifa and Black Lives Matter™ radicals take over and squat in a Portland house belonging to someone else. Neighbors sound the alarm. Police come months later to force them to leave. Antifa takes over the street in front of the house. All hell breaks loose and cops are attacked.
This is the backstory to what’s happening right now on the ground in a neighborhood that Portland antifa radicals have essentially taken over since yesterday. They’ve blocked the street, erected walls, and now essentially hold a neighborhood hostage.
At 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Portland Police and Multnomah County Sheriff deputies raided a home that had been taken over by a group of squatters. They’d been ordered to leave by a judge, but the group stayed anyway.
Since the September 9th, individuals have converged on the property by trespassing on the home’s front and backyards, and camping on adjacent privately owned and city-owned properties. Law enforcement also learned the home was broken into and that people were entering and exiting despite the judge’s order.
Campers took over the yard and blocked traffic and access for neighbors wanting to go to their own homes.
Police made several arrests during the morning raid.
The following are names of additional people arrested:
26-year-old Malik Farrakhan – Interfering with a peace officer, resist arrest
32-year-old Benjamin Einhorn – Interfering a with a peace officer
31-year-old Coral Cloutman – Disorderly Conduct II
24-year-old Stephen Wiens – Disorderly Conduct II, Interfering a with peace officer
23-year-old Marshall Piotcowski – Disorderly Conduct II, Interfering a with peace officer
26-year-old Alicxandra Blake Lucero – Interfere with a peace officer, Resist Arrest, Trespass II

I say encourage them and let them reach out to their Communist counterparts across the country to flock together and get out of normal towns. It could be their dirtier, more drugged out Haight-Ashbury.
No Democrat Governor, Attorney General, District Attorney, Mayor or City Councilman, in any of the destroyed cities, lost their job in the last election.

Antifa needs to be ventilated. Just one round from the rooftop and then move. Hop on a bike, find another rooftop...repeat as required.
Just as the subjects tolerated it last year, they are tolerating it this time, and will tolerate it the next time as well. People need to wake up and realize you are either a subject, as in Portland, or a citizen and a free person. Being a citizens confers a sense of responsibility of doing what is right, even though it may not be popular.
This will continue as long as people allow it to continue.

In a normal state, the Guard would come...arrested folks would have $100k of bond to post, with real prosecutors arranging enough charges to get you five years in prison.
In Oregon, the Governor has absolute fear of getting the Guard involved, and provoking some massive (even bigger) protest. Toss in the fact that probably 90-percent of the ‘thugs’ are doped-up on something serious (lot more than weed) and could easily flip into some major violent assault.
If they don’t start getting this settled, and convince the drugged-up thugs into leaving....I don’t see any peace coming to Portland, and massive issues by spring. Business fronts will start to speculate on moving out of the area, and it’ll trigger home prices to spiral.

That would be very satisfying.
I used to hold that sentiment. Now I am less certain that voters have that much say in affairs.
"The people who vote do not matter. The people who count the votes are the ones who matter".
In any case, the residents are not going to vote their way out of this problem.
The U.S. map show that the left coast has a new color YELLOW.
I’m sure if the legitimate residents in that neighborhood started killing the “occupiers” the police would suddenly start making appearances - to arrest the residents.
They might just start finding “floaters” in the nearby rivers. People can only take so much, and Portland has abdicated its responsibilities.

I had to read the comments first,and there it was. I wanted to know if they were related.
The Western US has a tradition that when legitimate government can no longer protect the general public, vigilance committees are formed to protect the public and regain some illusion of law and order.
Why should we fight antifa when we should be fighting the government that is about to steal this election?
