Sen. John Cornyn, the senior GOP senator from Texas, is critical of his state’s lawsuit challenging the election results in several battleground states, telling me: "I frankly struggle to understand the legal theory of it.”

“You know, it's very unusual because when a state sues a state, the Supreme Court of the United States has original jurisdiction, so you don't have to go through the ordinary procedure. I read just the summary of it, and I frankly struggle to understand the legal theory of it.”

His vision is obstructed by the Chinese money in his bank account. Don’t go looking there to see what I mean!

Not surprised Cornhole is confused as he is bought off by the globalists. Had to hold my nose to vote for him again a few weeks ago. In addition to being corrupt, he is not terribly bright.

[Family threatened?]

Just RINO. Fortunately, if he should ever fall down the stairs and break his neck, there’s always Dan Patrick, the AG. Or Abbott himself.

Well Senator, this just confirms the suspicion many have had about you not being the brightest bulb on the porch. And it doubles confirms it that you would admit to it.

If Cornhole would stuff a gun in his mouth, the governor could replace him with a real Patriot.

If it were not for the criticality of holding the US Senate , I never would have voted for that piece of schiff. Have called his office and told him (a staffer) so.

How is that voting for the lessor of two evils working out for us?

Better yet why do we keep doing it over and over and over again?

Of course by now with one party having cheated their way at the top, what difference does it make?

I guess many, self NOT included, will keep asking for re-fills of the same “lessor” cool-aid.

Doesn’t the Texas GOP have anyone else they could have run against Cornyn in the last primary? Why scrape the bottom of the barrel and let the gutless coward, lying NeverTrumper RINOcrat run again? The only time Coryn sounds conservative is in every six-year campaign.

I had no choice but to vote for this sorry sack, it certainly wasn’t my choice or with joy in my heart.

I had a job to do and I grudgingly did it.

Reading the comment section of local news articles— I wasn’t alone.

Bernstein names 21 Republican senators who privately expressed contempt for Trump

The veteran Watergate reporter Carl Bernstein has publicly named 21 Republican senators he says have “repeatedly expressed extreme contempt for [Donald] Trump and his fitness” for office.

As Trump continued to try to subvert the results of a presidential election he clearly lost to Joe Biden, Bernstein said on Twitter he was “not violating any pledge of journalistic confidentially [sic]”.

His information, he said, came from “colleagues, staff members, lobbyists [and] White House aides”.

Then he named names.

They were:
