Turn the damned Printing Press OFF and Turn the Country back ON, assholes
>>$600 direct payment to most Americans — but eliminate a $300 per week employment benefit favored by a bipartisan group of Senate negotiators.
Tell those who are unemployed that they’d be getting 2 $300 checka and they shouldn’t be able to double dip as they did when they were getting the $800 checks AND the $1200 one.

HOORAY POTUS and administration patriots.
Dumb idea
1. Drop the "public health emergency" declarations and let people make their own risk assessments and decisions. Drop the asinine muzzle and social controls and get the economy back to normal.
2. Require cycle-count reporting for the PCR test, as Florida is now doing, and set a realistic threshold for what constitutes a meaningful "positive" result.
3. Reinforce hospital reserve capacity to handle transient surges.
4. Implement focused protection for the most at-risk demographics, as per the https://gbdeclaration.org/.
Give em and adjustment, Chief. Crack their backs. Give ‘em HELL, too. Tough times require tough decisions.
all part of the great reset
we will have nothing
Trump administration has been completely off the rails wrong in handling economic relief around covid. The people who slogged through, that remained employed and continued to expose themselves to the dangers of contracting covid, were completely screwed in comparison to those that were able to hide away in their homes, safe from exposure. Unemployed perhaps, yes, but making more money than those of us that kept working.
Covid relief should have been tightly connected to the employed, with direct relief distributed in coordination with employers. Shall a person get sick with covid, a 1 month furlough could be granted for recovery, and immediately a federal covid benefit would be granted to the sick employee so that they would not have to worry about lost funds from missing work. After the very generous 1 month, the individual would be expected back to work and federal relief cut off.
Other benefits could have granted the employer during this time to compensate lost labor etc. But the way Trump/Mnuchin handled it was a disaster, just throwing trillions to people indiscriminately!
