The difference seems to be that the requested relief has always been to void the results, a HUGE request for any judge. The Texas case is simply asking for the slate of EVs to be determined by the state legislatures, which has precedent, and a Constitutional basis.

Let's hope that it has legs.

And the state's, I believe, can apportion the EVs as they see fit. Three of the four can be magnanimous, and avoid some Democrat rioting, by allocating the EVs 50-50. If only one of the bigger 3 (PA, MI, GA) deny their EVs to Biden, by not certifying, or by giving the set to Trump, then Biden fails to get to 270 by Monday, and the 12th Amendment kicks in for the second time ever (1824, John Quincy Adams).

(Wild note: the 12th also has the Senate decide the VP winner. Sens Romney, Collins, and Murkowski could give us a VP Harris, "to be fair". Imagine THOSE Trump-Harris press conferences, LOL. And imagine how much Secret Service protection we would all beg for Trump to have for the next 4 years, LOL)

The Texas case has huge support, and is based on Bush v Gore, a SCOTUS decision from only 20 years ago. The relief sought is NOT a voiding of the result, but merely remanding it to the state legislatures, which has precedent and a Constitutional basis. It has a MUCH better chance of being heard, since the statea can allocate the EVs in any way they see fit, including by percentage of the voting.

The Texas case also does not rely on evidence of fraudulent votes. Every one of the 4 states has clearly had counts done differently in different areas, explicitly violating the 14th according to Bush v Gore.

One is left to winder if the Trump cases up until now were overreaching on purpose, to make this one stronger at the very end.

A) a: Doug Ducey, Brian Kemp, the statewide Republican officeholders in Arizona and Georgia, and others are all part of a deep state conspiracy involving North Koreans, Venezuelans, Hugo Chavez (who’s dead), China and the FBI

B) Trump actually lost and he and his cronies are lying to try and keep him in power and/or raise money.

Biden is at 306 as “called.” Our President needs 3 of the 4 States’ EVs to either a) be removed entirely or b) flipped ALL to him to get to 270. The State Legislatures splitting them proportionally would allow Biden to eek out 270.

When Texas wins their case, Trump will not need the Arizona electoral votes. Adding Arizona would only serve to get more lawyers against Texas.

To put it simply. You only need enough electoral votes to win.

AZ’s decision may or may not matter....The Texas decision will likely remand the decision back to state legislators , where decisions are not set in stone, despite R dominated state houses.
