COVID-19, with over a 99.5% recovery rate, has prompted the state of California to enact a draconian lockdown on its people. Anyone deemed “non-essential” must stay at home, wear a face mask, and social distance. They’re so serious, they sent out a statewide “severe alert” to all cell phones in the state

Got the alert today just after lunch. Knew it was coming. I have a friend who works in the office of emergency services. She told us this was coming yesterday.

I do have one question: ok, I’ve had covid. So, apparently have gadzillions of others, right? WHY TF DO WE HAVE TO LOCK DOWN TOO? We already had covid and we aren’t afraid of it. We can’t give it or get it. And there are trillions of us daily, right???

Got my alert as well then went about my usual appts and schedule as did apparently all the other people I saw at these appts in waiting rooms, shopping lines etc. All generally going about their day to day business. Except of course the people that mayors and the governor said couldn’t open their businesses. JUST WRONG!!!

I heard it a couple of weeks ago when Illinois locked down. I’m a couple of miles away in a free state, but I got Pritzker’s message even though I have a MO area code.

Ha! I live in Hellinois and I didn't get any such alert! JB PRICKSTER can kiss my ass! I have those stupid alerts turned off on my phone (my phone is unlocked and rooted so I have full control over it.)
