“They’re called the Bravest, not the Smartest,” cracked one FDNY member, referring to firefighters who say they will refuse the COVID vaccine. Whatever the reason, that’s the city’s sworn protectors adding to the public’s risks.
As The Post’s Sara Dorn reports, a poll found that 55 percent of FDNY firefighters say they’ll skip the shot. First responders are to be offered the vaccine early on, but union boss Andrew Ansbro says some members “don’t want to be on the front of the line.”
He notes that 35 percent were already exposed to the virus and thus think they don’t need the shot. Wrong: They can still get reinfected — and so spread the bug.

I think Congress should go first!!
Since the vaccine uses novel technology, I’ll let others try it first.
I don’t think anyone will be able to dodge this if they
follow-up as I suspect.
If you want to buy food or conduct business anywhere outside
the home, you’ll have to have proof you had the vaccine.
This ignores the fact that it was stated by someone in the know
a day or so ago, that getting the vaccine still doesn’t mean
you can’t pass it on.
I mean, these folks are either mental basket cases or there
is something very sinister about this thing they aren’t
fessing up about.
The scientists should go first, their managers second and their children third and fourth.

1. Show us where it has been proved that you can get reinfected. Real proof.
2. If you can get reinfected, how can the vaccine work?
Is it true the vaccine only works three to six months?
And, the host ribosomes need to be tricked into generating the china virus antigens by the messenger RNA (from the shot) that, itself, needs to be tricked into entering cell wall membranes, and then the newly manufactured antigens need to find their way outside the cell where they can wake up the adaptive immune system.
The above is simplistic (possibly in error, so corrections invited), but the overall point is that a vaccine with all of these potential failure nodes had never been let loose on a population before.
Maybe it's the greatest advancement ever, and I hope so.
That said, I'm not in a huge hurry.

The vaccine gives you resistance to the effects of the virus when it comes in contact with it, not getting it.

If so, it would be the most useless vaccine ever. So useless that even the Democrats would eventually admit it.

But since just the yearly generic flus have updated shots eaach year, it wouldn’t surprise me if a covid booster didn’t come along in a few years.
If Congress goes first, America can’t lose. If they all live, the vaccine is safe; if they all die, the country is safe.
These NY firemen are cowards.
They’re not getting the vaccine because they are afraid. A fireman’s duty has always been to bravely protect the people that they serve, but instead these guys say to hell with them.

I’m willing to bed any politician getting the vaccine on camera is not getting the same vaccine as everyone else. I know I sure won’t be getting it. Not after what I read from noted virologists v political hack doctors.
