On Monday, President Donald Trump’s personal attorney Jenna Ellis predicted that legislatures in four key swing states would reverse their certifications of 2020 election results showing Joe Biden prevailing over Trump, exercising their authority to change the way electors in the Electoral College are apportioned and handing the president the election. This legislative approach represents another facet of the Trump team’s push to reverse the allegedly tainted results.
“We do have the parallel paths. We are continuing on in the judiciary and I do anticipate that we will get to the Supreme Court,” Ellis told Fox Business’s Charles Payne. The legislative approach represents an alternate path to the same result.
Ellis said she and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani have been “going to the state legislators and telling them that they actually have the constitutionally-delegated authority to make sure that they select their delegates in the manner that does not allow for corruption.”
“When all of these rules and laws in these states have been ignored, it’s actually their constitutional obligation, responsibility, and exclusive power to make sure that they take back their delegates and they don’t allow these false certifications to move forward,” the Trump lawyer argued.
Ellis predicted that the legislatures of Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Michigan would use their authority over determining Electoral College electors in order to reverse the fraud which Ellis argued was responsible for Biden’s margin in those states.
“So, we’re very confident that at least in Georgia, and hopefully also in Arizona, in Pennsylvania, and also in Michigan that these state legislatures will really take election integrity very seriously, they will reclaim their delegates before the 14th [the date on which electors will cast their votes in their separate states] and that they will then do their own election integrity independent investigation

My state rep replied to my email, saying if the SCOTUS weighs in, he would rely heavily on their opinion. I suspect that legislators in PA and other states are looking to SCOTUS for cover.

lol....she doesn’t know her republican state legislature leadership very well. i love optimism as much as anyone....but optimism that gop state house leaders have any goal other than putting in biden is uwarranted to say the least

Maybe you should reply with a reminder of WHO’s Opinion should really matter to them.
Then suggest to your rep that they are a gutless coward who does not deserve to represent you, because they are afraid of standing up for the truth.
Would count on state legislatures and more than you can count on the courts to have the courage to do the right thing, rectify the fraud and restore the right of self determination for the American people. The only hope remains with the Supreme Court. However Chief Justice Roberts has either been succussfully blackmailed or has been bought off. Not clear if Justices Ailoto and thomas have the votes to hear the case, allow evidence to be presented and rectification in the form of forensic analysis of ballots and machines be done. State legislators and state court judges are elected and they like the perks and power that comes with those positions. How many have the courage to do what’s right, knowing they and their families will instantly be attacked in every way by the democrat-media mob and targeted for removal/defeat?
I expect very few, if any. Instead they will justify kicking it to some other entity or finding an excuse to do nothing. That mkes them cowards but also moves the focus to higher courts where judges are appointed and hopefully less influ by these factors. Unfortunately many are still leftist ideologues, although Trump and Mitch have been working on that.
Eating and paying medical bills is my first priority. Once that’s taken care of, I can move on.
You draw more flies with honey than with vinegar. At least the rep sounds like he would like to do the right thing, and when the time comes, he may find the courage to be more aggressive about it. But not if you shoot him down to begin with.
Wisconsin GOP Assembly (House) has already refused. They need those nice stories about them in the Madison and Milwaukee papers, not to mention being cut out of the extravagant Democrat parties and paid vacations.
