The San Francisco Chronicle is predicting a “total restaurant apocalypse” in the San Francisco Bay Area as a result of the region’s new coronavirus shutdown orders, forcing thousands of business to close and lay off employees in the near future.
The San Francisco region will be under stay-at-home orders for several weeks, into the new year. Much of the rest of California is also under stay-at-home orders by Gov. Gavin Newsom, though — for now — those orders will expire by year’s end.

Agree, SFO used to be a wonderful city and food town; there was one restaurant for every 300 residents. It was amazing to go to the various parts of the city for different food, especially the Italian restaurants in North Beach. Now, even with the pandemic being blamed for everything and finishing off the restaurants, I won’t be going again. SFO lets bums live on the streets and discard needles and defecate on the sidewalks; patrons are tracking THAT into the expensive restaurants. The Bolshevik DA will not prosecute shoplifters who steal under $ 1000 in goods; a real incentive for thieving and breaking into cars. No thanks.

You’re correct, I’ve been to SFO 6-7 times on business and pleasure, it was a stunningly beautiful place, in fact the entire area, Monterrey and Carmel to the South and Napa Valley to the North......
It’s hard to imagine something so beautiful getting utterly destroy by liberals, but that’s what they do, when they are entrenched in power they destroy everything...
Girlfriend and I found a wonderful little spot Tea Room in a Ft Worth flea market Sunday. Best food I have eaten in 10 years, the entree plate Waldorf Salad for her and Veggie Sandwich on a croissant for me and desert plate scone with crumbled cream and strawberry compote was all absolutely great - spent $21. Our new favorite place.
