Amazon, owned by billionaire Jeff Bezos, is praising a President Bill Clinton-appointed federal judge’s decision that requires President Trump’s administration to give two-year work permits to illegal aliens enrolled in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
As Breitbart News reported, Judge Nicholas Garaufis of the United States District Court in Brooklyn, New York, blocked Trump’s reforms to the DACA program that shortened the length of work permits given to many of the nearly 800,000 illegal aliens enrolled.
Garaufis’s decision mandates that the Trump administration resume giving two-year work permits to DACA illegal aliens at a time when 24.5 million Americans are jobless or underemployed. Amazon — which has been lobbying for more foreign workers throughout a mass unemployment crisis — praised the decision.
“We applaud today’s DACA ruling,” a statement from Amazon’s policy office reads. “DREAMers are critical to America’s family and economy. We are grateful for those who’ve helped us innovate and we are glad they are here to stay.”
Amazon remains one of the largest beneficiaries of the nation’s annual mass importation of more than 1.2 million green card holders, 1.4 million foreign visa workers, and hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens.
Specifically, programs like Optional Practical Training (OPT) provide a tax incentive, and thus a subsidy paid for by U.S. taxpayers, for corporations to hire foreign workers over American graduates. Amazon, for example, reaps a 15 percent discount from hiring foreign OPT workers over Americans because it allows them to evade billions in FICA taxes year-t0-year.
The multinational corporation is also hoping that Sen. Mike Lee’s (R-UT) green card giveaway — known as HR. 1044 or S. 386 — will pass the House after the Senate approved the legislation this week without any objections from Senate Republicans...

LEGAL Immigrants and American Citizens hit hardest, but Dem voters don't seem to notice.
Legally important, but given the laxity of enforcement of employment laws, it is likely most DACA folks are already employed if they are out of high school; thus not likely an immediate impact on the negative affects toward those legally employed or who could legally employed -it’s already been made.
The problem is legal and long term, as the court enforcement gets continued without any President’s recourse. THEN over time (as DACA kids become DACA adults) the negative impact on legal employment continues and grows - the possible DACA #’s and impact doubles.
Well that’s good to know. I won’t be making anymore purchases from Amazon.
Yeah, who cares about the citizens of this nation anyway?
In Amazon leadership’s minds, the government of the United
States should pay everyone a living wage anyway. Work? Eh
who needs it?
We live in a terribly mixed up nation at the moment.
I despise Amazon’s opinion here, and who exactly it is that
is this stupid.
Welcome to the United States of South Africa.
As stated...Jeff Bezos Amazon remains one of ‘the largest beneficiaries’ of the nation’s annual mass importation of more than:
1.2 million green card holders
1.4 million foreign visa worker
..... and hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens.
Amazon is pushing for DALCA now are well. What is DALCA? It’s DACA, but targeted for the 500,000 Indian kids brought into the US by Indian H1B trash. They are demanding the same deal, as many Indian kids age out and are forced to return to India. Boo effing hoo. Send them back.
Only jobs available for us mere Americans. Brutal warehouse distribution jobs at their fulfillment centers. While Amazon gives all the white-collar development work to Indians and all customer service work to offshore Filipinos - I usually get connected with someone from Manila or Cebu (they tried Indians, too many complaints as Americans absolutely abhor and can’t understand the Indian accent)
Indian accent is brutal to understand. I asked to speak to someone else on a call once....they hung up on me.
The immediate result is that one, single FORMER president’s policy issuances are MORE forceful than a subsequent president’s. I dare say Trump’s orders won’t be afforded the same authority as the pipsqueak’s.
I am the same but it is hard to purchase when some suppliers rather sell thru amazon. Right now I’m purchasing food containers to organize my kitchen and at least now I’m purchasing directly thru the company and not amazon.
Standing all day on concrete floors is a killer!

So is the constant bending and lifting of up to 50 lbs. especially those with bad knees and a bad back.
So it the almost requirement to wear a diaper. 10 minute breaks are hardly enough time when there are limited bathroom facilities and it takes 5 minutes to get to the nearest one.
Had a Chase account once. All calls routed through India. Had an issue with a illegal ACH charge. Could not understand the Indian bloke for the life of me. After demanding to speak to an American for 15 minutes, gave up. Went to the nearest Chase location. Closed my account. Opened up a Credit Union account.
