Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco is blasting Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) in a new video statement after the governor threatened to withhold funding to counties refusing to enforce the governor's latest round of coronavirus lockdowns.
Sheriff Bianco accused the governor of being both hypocritical and dictatorial, and said the Riverside County Sheriff's Department would not be "blackmailed, bullied, or used as muscle against Riverside County residents."
"The dictatorial attitude toward California residents while dining in luxury, traveling, keeping his business open, and sending his kids to in-person private schools is very telling about his attitude toward California residents, his feelings about the virus, and it is extremely hypocritical," said the sheriff.

6 cars of law enforcement waiting to get him.
He took off and carried a deputy 100 feet.
They’re just doing their job.
And now their job includes arresting Americans for working and NOT arresting Americans for burning sh##, destroying neighborhoods and throwing incendiary devices at Law Enforcement.

These current extreme lock downs are just a misunderstanding. The sheriff does not understand the “We’re All in This Together”
Newsom(D), Brown(D) and Insle(D) have formed a 3 state pact to not accept the Wuhan vaccine until “their” people have examined it.
The grueseome threesome are in the process of negotiating kickbacks from the vaccine manufacturers. Once they have the amount of kickback per shot, they will push for maximum compliance of vaccination.
Lock downs and masks will continue until the agreed upon minimum number of vaccination kickbacks.
They are doing their job. But they also swore an oath to the Constitution of the United States, not to Governor Cuomo. They have an OBLIGATION to resist illegal orders, and I think that this ultimately will be decided in the courts. In the mean time, they are being put in the position of being hated by the law abiders and the law breakers. This is the motivation of Cuomo. I say to them, RESIST! He can’t fire all of you...Stand up for the people, not for Cuomo’s quest for power. Become a chapter in his next book.
CA is so broke that they will withhold funding no matter what. I sold some property there about 10 years ago, and they withheld “capital gain taxes” on 100% of the sale price until
I filed for a tax return. They weren’t very prompt about sending my money back.

I had heard about some sort of penalty for bailing on them.
Boy it’s easy for me to talk tough but I folded when it came to masks because I needed a new tire and the jerk at the counter had a heart attack when I went in to the office without it.
So I got one and put it on. I needed a new tire.
Imagine risking your Career? Salary? Paying for your wife and kids’ roof and food?
But you are right.
At some point we must all step up.
The Lord hates a coward.

That is my point exactly. Bullies use intimidation. Newsome will fold like a cheap tent when (and/if) the Sheriffs of California will speak in ONE voice to the governor, Fire one of us, then fire all of us. He will not look good by forcing this illegal action. Then, if he really wants to play chicken, all of the Sheriffs can sue him personally and the State of California for abuse of power and lost wages (with punitive damages), as he threatened to withhold “Federal Funding”. He does not have the authority to do that. I say, punch him in the nose! Bullies go down especially hard.

In the end, the owner doesn’t want to get arrested like the pub owner did.
I don’t blame them. Like I said, easy for me to talk tough. It’s not my business.
But you’re right. Speaking in one voice is the best answer.
It’s also something that’s very difficult to set up.
There will always be those who do not want to rock the boat.
At least there’s a deli in my area that doesn’t care about masks if you go late, which is when I always go :)
And a junkyard probably wouldn’t care about masks for an extra 5 bucks :)

I don't know if this is true.
But "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss" seems to be a time-honored concept.
Why yes, they are.
Their job is to enforce the orders of the Rulers. That is exactly what they are doing. The restraints of Law or Constitution have little or nothing to do with that job.
We have all lived a sheltered life. Now the rules we expect to follow are evaporating.

It's the same here in Nuevo Mehico. La Gobernadora has basically said she'll shut down businesses that don't enforce her mask mandate. Now, as we head into winter, her mandate is not more than 25% capacity or 75 total customers inside a store, whichever is fewer. So Costco, Walmart, Sam's Club, local supermarkets, etc. have massive lines of people all standing 4-6' apart outside in the cold. Rather than standing/walking a random distance apart in the warm stores. Albuquerque is desert, but we're a mile up, so we get cold winters. Windy, too. Yeah, like that won't make it easier to catch something.
I'm still trying to figure out if she's more evil than stupid or vice-versa.
