The predictions are getting more dire.

Actual climate changes, not so much.

Five-fold spending increase requested by the man who forever cut tech industry job salaries with cheap foreign labor and made BILLIONS off of that.

I have not seen him for many years, but it seems as if he has gone off the deep end.

I feel really bad for him.

I believe a lot of rich white liberals are conditioned to feel guilty about their wealth. Finding a cause to champion gives them some kind of fulfillment and buys them “acceptance”. In reality, the people who cheer them despise them for their wealth.

It’s really kind of pathetic.

Gates has invested a lot of money in alternative nuclear energy ideas.

I give him credit for that.

However, technical progress, and regulatory approval, move at a glacial rate of speed in that industry.

Bill Gates stole the base operating system that became Microsoft. Who starts a company from scratch with the likes of Steve Bechtel on the board. Was this Inqutel’s beginning?

This man is dirty.

Pure and unmitigated NONSENSE!!! Flushit before it multiplies!!!

Stuff like this just proves that becoming wealthy beyond belief does NOT prove one is smart, or has clear vision, or has even one lick of common sense!!!

Gates did not steal his original MS operating system, but he did buy it for what, in retrospect, was a relative pittance. The greater loser was IBM, which needed an operating system for its PC but negotiated only a license from Gates, not a purchase, thereby forfeiting the fortune to be made from PC software instead of PCs themselves.

Re: “Bill Gates stole the base operating system that became Microsoft.”

As far as I know, Gates purchased all rights to DOS from the creator in a straight up cash deal.

It is certainly possible that Gates did not explain that MS-DOS was going to run IBM’s first personal computer.

The CO2 in the atmosphere is being taken in by photosynthesis. Most of it is used by algae. We can plant more trees that can take in more CO2. We can use algae to take in CO2 from power generators and create fuel from that same algae. Science is coming up with more ways to sequester CO2.

To get a realistic perspective of man made CO2, one needs to understand what is his contribution. When looking at the planets total creation of CO2 as it relates to what man creates, the Earth wins the contest:

Bill ain’t scientific enuff fir the task. Neither are hardly any politicians, entrepreneurs, or hustlers. Are there research dollars available? Only subsidies? That will fail.
If you want to handle a scientific issue, study it. STUDY THE PROBLEM! We are throwing money at something AND NOBODY KNOWS WHAT IT IS!

Bjørn Lomborg conducted a scholarly study. Check it out. It is doctoral thesis quality in properly cited format and the conclusion is quite different from just throwing money at it. The study was published an titled “The Skeptical Environmentalist.”

I’m not asking anybody to read it but I would ask politicians to read it just to give them an idea at the way they’re going about this is total BS.

Billy Gates indeed...
