Georgia-based attorney Lin Wood is getting lots of attention for urging supporters of President Donald Trump to break with the president and not vote for GOP Sens. David Perdue (R-GA) and Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) in the upcoming January 5 runoff elections.
Wood’s public comments run counter to President Trump’s own public statements and wishes, as the president has repeatedly urged his supporters to support Loeffler and Perdue and is heading to Valdosta, Georgia, on Saturday to rally with the GOP senators. Wood’s comments are also in line with what top national Democrats are pushing for, as Breitbart News has reported a national anti-Trump Democrat Super PAC called “Really American PAC” is running billboards carrying a message nearly identical to what Wood is saying.
While Wood made his comments purportedly as a self-described supporter of Trump, while donning a red “Make America Great Again” ball cap, the real story here is that Wood is by no means a Republican and there is no record in Georgia of him ever voting for President Trump—in 2016 or in 2020—in the Republican primaries. While Wood did vote in the 2020 and 2016 general elections in Georgia—there are no records in Georgia of him pulling a GOP primary ballot in 2016 or 2020, the two years President Trump was on the ticket. Ironically, in both the 2020 and 2016 general elections, state records show that Wood voted absentee—by mail—in Georgia, the same system he is now railing against.

My point is that you said nothing about voting in that post and were excusing him for donating to Dems as part of his business.
He did more than that.
Trump also told us to vote for Romney, and numerous other Rinos he has campaigned for. And how’d that turn out?
Last time I looked the Never Trumpers named themselves, and quoting from National Review, Eric Erickson, and many at Brietbart, let’s real patriots know where all these smears on Powell and Wood are coming from.
Both Loeffler and Perdue publicly called for the resignation of the Georgia SOS, and did so early and loudly. They pointed out that he is incompetent and corrupt.
It’s come out that Wood donated to Obama.
You don’t donate to Obama unless you are a true believer.
Wood is a clown.
I’m pretty sure he’s not on our side.
Not just a Democrat, he donated to OBAMA.
Trump didn’t donate to Obama. Only true believers donated to Obama.
Even more of a reason to have turned up at today’s event and support Trump.
Yet they didn’t. Why?

Wood and Powell set the record on Right Side Broadcasting today with over 200,000 live viewers. He’s well known for other recent cases such as Nick Sandman, and per a link above has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to Republicans.
If we should be suspicious of anyone, it’s clearly you.

Because just last week I heard the family of that kid thanking Wood for helping to raise money to get him out of jail.
I don’t think Wood is a Dem at all, he doesn’t act like one.
I've been listening to Matt Boyle for years on his Breitbart radio show. He's 100% behind whichever Republicans have power in the Congress.
If he's doing this to support Perdue and Loeffler over Trump it means that's where McConnel and McCarthy are going.
Lin said, today, that he has voted for Repubs and Dems....he has always tried to vote for the lesser of the two evils.
Lin has called on GAs to vote, but to insist on a Special Session to insure that their vote counts.

Exactly! Powell and Wood have been talking a lot, but we haven’t seen any results. I guess the results will show up as higher book sales later?
Perdue and Loeffler don’t need to be on the stage with Wood and Powell, they need to be campaigning and the people of Georgia need to be at the capital demanding Kemp and the legislature get their act together. Two candidates on stage don’t trump a mass of angry voters in the street.
Listening to the rally today it was clear that Wood is encouraging a GOP loss.

He settled a $250 Million dollar suit, which means the kid didn’t get any $250 Million. What this attorney did get with Sandmann and Jewell are two high profile cases that bought him goodwill and fame.
There is zero upside to throwing away two Senate seats by writing in a candidate that isn’t running and in any event cannot occupy two offices.
With people like YOU on our side it is NO WONDER we have nothing but RINOS running the show!!!
