A Michigan couple who spent nearly a half-century together have tragically died of COVID-19 on the same day — and at the same time.
Jackson natives Leslie and Patricia McWaters succumbed to the disease at a hospital on Tuesday, Nov. 22, at 4:23 p.m., ending their 47-year marriage. They were 75 and 78, respectively, the Detroit Free Press reported.
Hospital staff “recorded their deaths at the exact same time,” their family writes in the funeral home obituary.

What were their underlying comorbidities?
At their ages, they had something else that contributed to their condition.

It might be possible if their ventilators were turned off around the same time or there was tacit agreement to record the deaths together as some sort of good will gesture for the families. But together....nahhh sounds like Bidenesque electioneering.

Odds are they hadn’t checked on them in a couple hours, then found them both dead. So they “recorded” their deaths at the same time.

They died of what everyone will eventually die of if they are lucky, old age.
I’d double check to make sure I’m still alive if I was one of them.
A good friend passed away last month (not Covid).
Her husband made a medical appointment a week ago and was denied. No Medicare Insurance. Call into Medicare “Hey - how come I don’t have insurance?”
“Well, both you and your wife died last month!”
It was some snafu at the Social Security department and they apologized and would fix it. Of course now he’s worried about his SS check.
Just as Biden will intend all of us to expire on our 70th birthdays so we don’t burden the health care system...
