Rudy Giuliani: Trump Team Looking Past Election Lawsuits, Will Lobby State Houses
The Epoch Times ^ | November 29, 2020 | JACK PHILLIPS

Posted on 11/30/2020 8:05:36 AM PST by BlackFemaleArmyColonel

President Donald Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani said that his team will be going after state legislatures in key states to make a bid to send up their own electors to the Electoral College.

The former New York City mayor said they are lobbying state legislatures in tandem with their lawsuits because they “don’t have a lot of time,” according to his interview with Newsmax.

“We’re doing both, with equal speed and enthusiasm, and taking advantage of which one gives us the hearing the quickest. And which one will work fastest for us,” said Giuliani on the program. “Because we don’t have a lot of time. We’ve got a lot of evidence; we don’t have a lot of time. And we’re facing a major censorship, so it’s very hard to get this information out to the public.”

Giuliani was likely referring to the near-total media blackout on some of the allegations produced by the team in recent days about election fraud and irregularities. During a hearing on election fraud with GOP Pennsylvania State senators, few corporate media outlets carried livestreams of their event, which heard testimony from witnesses who said they saw mass irregularities in the Keystone State.

As a result, according to the former mayor, ”the public has only a small idea of the kind of evidence we have.”

Giuliani said that he has more affidavits from election observers who were prevented from watching the vote-tabulation process in some areas and of mail-in ballots being “cured,” which means poll workers were allowed to correct information such as a voter’s signature or counting a ballot without an envelope.

They don't have much faith in the courts. I don't have any faith in Republicans. We will see if this strategy works.

I don’t believe this strategy has any chance.

Not enough courageous Republicans for that to work.

Sounds like this is just about over. Time to suck it up and move on.

“I don’t believe this strategy has any chance.”

There are more Republican state legislatures than Democrat. I’m not sure if this applies to how many states have Republican/Democrat legislatures or is it by Electoral votes?

As an example, if Republicans have 26 state legislatures and Democrats have 24, when the electoral vote comes up, if it is 26 to 24, does Trump hold the Whitehouse?

IMO which is no better than anybody else’s this is not going to work.

Let’s all face reality here. Biden simply cannot be allowed to take office. We may all need to come to grips with dancing around the constitution a little bit this year.

Trump needs to get all this information out in court and if he bumps up against time constraints then time needs to be suspended and yes I am talking about the insurrection act. If the fraud and treason are this bad then it’s fully called for as the whole election is invalid. We cannot rely on 5 black robes to roll back a coup. That’s asking too much.

In case anyone wondered what this is about, if they wanted to change the result of the election they would want to get the information to the courts.

If they want to raise money and build a political base they will want to get the information to the public.

I haven't seen the latest solicitations but I understand that up to 75% of money donated to the legal defense fund can actually go to a Trump PAC.

This strategy will never work. There will be riots in the streets that will make this past summer’s look weak and the Republic state house members know it.

We the people have far greater influence on our state legislatures than we do over the courts. With that being the case, we should lobby members of the legislatures of each state that counted their votes in a manner that produced an outcome that was of disadvantage to President Trump.

Contact these state reps and senators and direct them to order the state’s Electoral College to vote for Trump.

Republican’s are notoriously fractious the could learn a lot from Rat party discipline. Rats want power first and foremost ! They’ll argue and fight how to divide it up later after they have power. Republicans will fight first and maybe stumble into power. Politics is about power getting it, holding it, & using it. Rats understand that down to the very essence of their being. For Republicans politics is a hobby. and if they lose that’s ok it was fun while it lasted.

"Lobby state Houses"?

Why don't we just sit back and wait for Seal Team 6 and a Ranger regiment to take over CIA headquarters at Langley....

I can see why the numbers of posts on FR are dropping. There is fight left here. It has become a haven for Monday-morning QBs, concern trolls, and defeatists.

I'm going to go hang with those who actually have the will to fight. Adios!

You have far more influence over your state rep than you do a federal judge.

What legislature will change the rules after the election and appoint a competing slate of electors without first having a court ruling saying that vote fraud made the election hopelessly compromised?

What if Trump invokes the Insurrection Act and the military and the states and the courts and Congress refuse to comply?

There's basically only two strategies...accept the election results (they won't be overturned due to the entrenched Deep State) or declare martial law.

That's it. Those are the choices, Sophie.

There are too many establishment Republicans.

They have let Trump fight the battles alone over the past 4 years.

We will see.

At least it can show the public details about all the corruption, although most media will vigorously deny and suppress any revelations.
