In yet another move that seems to indicate that COVID-19 is unlike any virus that has ever existed, Dr. Anthony Fauci told McClatchy DC that people previously infected with and recovered from COVID-19 should get the vaccine anyway:
“I believe they should” take the vaccine, Fauci said, addressing concerns among individuals who have already recovered from infection. “The final decision is going to be awaiting both FDA input, because we know that there were a certain percentage of the people who were in the original vaccine trial that had evidence they had been previously infected. So we need to see what the outcome of those individuals were.”
This should raise all kinds of questions for several reasons. First, why were people with evidence of having been infected enrolled in the vaccine study? If they had active antibodies, they were likely already protected from infection. Even Dr. Fauci admitted that, after President Trump recovered from COVID-19. In an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper, he said:
The problem with the word immune is it means different things to different individuals, Jake. If he means that he’s been infected and having been infected and recovered that he will not get infected again, that’s true for a limited period of time. But what we do not know is how long that protection lasts. So, technically speaking, from an immunological standpoint, he has an immune response in him that very likely would protect him from being reinfected.
And, truth be told, science has provided some understanding of the immune response to COVID-19. Several studies have shown that exposure to other coronaviruses, like SARS and those that cause the common cold, may provide some protection against COVID-19. This is because the immune system has both short- and long-term components.

“Science!”
Antibodies are the short-term immune response. We know these exist and that they provide some level of protection because we are testing for them. The long-term immune response is governed in part by T cells.
These cells have a “memory” for certain properties of a virus and can mount an immune response when the T cells detect them. These two systems are working together in our bodies at all times to keep us healthy and free from illness. The way they function is also the underlying science behind every vaccine against a virus.
From this report:
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/11/17/health/coronavirus-immunity.html
Eight months after infection, most people who have recovered still have enough immune cells to fend off the virus and prevent illness, the new data show. A slow rate of decline in the short term suggests, happily, that these cells may persist in the body for a very, very long time to come.
The research, published online, has not been peer-reviewed nor published in a scientific journal. But it is the most comprehensive and long-ranging study of immune memory to the coronavirus to date.
Dr. Fauci needs to take a long walk off a short pier.
Send Fauci back to China!
What then is the use of having had it?
So, I suppose we’ll be expected to get a vaccine shot every three months too?
Now I have a question - If someone gets one vaccine from one company and then for the second vaccine they get it from another company, does anyone know what kind of increased reactions that might cause? Just thinkin.
“The final decision is going to be awaiting both FDA input, because we know that there were a certain percentage of the people who were in the original vaccine trial that had evidence they had been previously infected. So we need to see what the outcome of those individuals were."
but says anyways:
"“I believe they should” take the vaccine
So do we wait for the science or DON'T WE?
This is how the message about COVID-19 gets muddled. Guys like Dr. Fauci like to hear the sound of their own voice. In the process he sows confusion. He is very tone deaf.
I’ve had the flu before, but I still get annual flu shots when they come out. I don’t really see anything strange about getting the vaccine even if you’ve already had COVID-19.
It seems like they could be setting up a system to ID, tag and trace everyone. The COVID was an excuse for shutting down the economy to blame it on and defeat trump. They may also use the COVID as an excuse to tag, track and require periodic check-in for new vaccinations...just an excuse to control people.
So tired of seeing $hit about the biggest turd of all time.
“So tired of seeing $hit about the biggest turd of all time.”
If I never see that man’s face again it will be too soon. He is the cause of so much heartbreak; the lockdown led to murders, suicides, abuse, bankruptcy, small business owners losing everything.
People are resorting to food banks because they can’t work.
I've even seen that here in OK, and it breaks even MY cantankerous heart. I'm going to start putting a little aside from my earnings every week, and donating it to my local food bank.
And while all this crap is going on, Phuck-shi goes (maskless) to baseball games, and poses for magazine covers like he's some kind of movie star. He needs to find out firsthand what he has wrought upon the world.
I hope that will happen before Judgment Day, when he reaps the REAL rewards of his evil.
The recovered should be at the very bottom of the eligibility list.
So, I suppose we’ll be expected to get a vaccine shot every three months too?

Depends just how much profit big Pharma wants to make off this scam.
Bill Gates is just one more leftist who needs to go back to
being a regular citizen, and not some moron behind the
curtain.
I have a friend who caught it twice.
Once in March and once in late Sept.
She said she was feeling pretty rough (not hospitalized) the first time and milder symptoms the second time.
“Immune” is a well defined medical term, meaning “highly resistant.”
Nothing more; nothing less.
And if you’ve had it, yes, you are immune, period. Don’t believe it? The WHO says about 1,000,000,000 people likely have had Covid-19. Find 1,000 who had symptomatic Covid-19 (but I repeat myself) twice. No? That’s 1,000,000:1 highly resistant.
That’s immune.
