Ohio is a conservative state.
It is our Republican leaders that made of Silly Putty.
The Ohio Republican Party is Dead.These are the same idiots who gave us John Kasuck and the current petty tyrant Dewhine and Husted.My congressman is a perfumed prince named Steve Stivers.Stivers has said it’s time to accept the results and come together and pass laws to help the American People.Stivers has never had President Trumps back.In fact Stivers likes to play footsie with radical leftest CBC member Joyce Betty.The dirty little secret is that Republican politicians hate President Trump and would rather be in the minority than work with our president.Portman is up for reelection in 2 years.It’s well past time to flush this turd down the commode.
My sister has lived there for years, I know all about squishy Republican politicians from Ohio. Your Governor, Rob Postman, and the most squishy of all, John Kasich.
Unfortunately Rockefeller Republicans have ruled the Ohio Republican Party for 70 years.
Taking control away from them is something we have not figured out.
Ohio is pretty much populated by Reagan Republicans but we might as well be Massachusetts as far as the Republican Party leadership is concerned.
You do know there is a reason for that right? 8>)
Now I will say that since the electing of President Trump, there has been a turn towards a more conservative voter base, but this was recent at best. Rockefeller Republicans is basically another name for liberal. 8>)
Remember that the first Progressive president was Teddy Roosevelt.
Republicans have been Liberals for a very long time
In reality it was Ronald Reagan that started the move to the Conservative side of the political spectrum (with a nod to Barry Goldwater)
Conservatism is in all reality a radical departure for Republicans and the leadership has never been happy with the move. They hated Reagan about as much as they hate Trump.
