How about a resolution asking for each member of the Board of Supervisors to spend each Saturday picking up s**t of the streets, sidewalks and parks?

I’m surprised they don’t give honor to the homosexual in a place such as San Francisco.

I think I remember Ramaytush Ohlone.

He played the sitar and hung out with George Harrison.

Then why not add people who were the “true source” of the stories on the show “Death Valley Days.” Many episodes did cover SF.

I thought he worked at the 7-11 on Lamar St.

I wonder if they would try this at the UN Headquarters in NYC. Would be interesting to see if they would mention either the Rockefellers or the native indigenous group that the land originally belonged to, lol.

They need to properly honor the Native Americans by turning off the electricity, demolishing city hall, and holding all meetings in tents.

I am sick and tired of this cultural appropriation of western civilization!

I think I remember Ramaytush Ohlone.

He played the sitar and hung out with George Harrison.

And tried to convince Pattie Boyd that if she slept with him she would gain enlightenment.

So the Indians supposedly came to North America tens of thousands of years ago from Asia. How come they did not have the wheel, or written languages, or cities what is now the USA and Canada? In Central & South America, there were advanced civilizations, but up North, still Stone Age people.

I received an e-mail from a potential client in B.C. When I replied, spell check was doing it’s corrections when I noticed some wording that I had not used. I looked closer and saw below the clients signature he had this:

I respectfully acknowledge the land on which I live, work and play is the traditional ancestral unceded shared territory of the Sumas First Nation and Matsqui First Nation. These two First Nations are part of the Stó:lō people which have lived in the Fraser Valley for 10,000 years. As well as the Fraser Valley Metis.

. Sounds like self-flagellation may be a coming trend

They weren’t the first inhabitants, they just happened to be the last inhabitants present before the white man came. You’re never the first person to build on prime real estate.

Isn’t this kind of a slap in the face to the native tribe these fools are trying to uplift? Saying that they’re guests would be like the Germans acknowledging that they were guests of Poles in 1939. Who invited the Spanish who took over California? The Ramaytush Ohlone were pretty much wiped out.
