They’re baaack: Trump and allies still refuse election loss
The Associated Press ^ | November 26, 2020 | By COLLEEN LONG, ALANNA DURKIN RICHER and ZEKE MILLER

WASHINGTON - Monday seemed like the end of President Donald Trump’s relentless challenges to the election, after the federal government acknowledged President-elect Joe Biden was the “apparent winner” and Trump cleared the way for cooperation on a transition of power.

But his baseless claims have a way of coming back. And back. And back.

The 2020 presidential race is turning into the zombie election that Trump just won’t let die. Despite dozens of legal and procedural setbacks, his campaign keeps filing new challenges that have no hope of succeeding and making fresh, unfounded claims of fraud.

But that’s the point. Trump’s strategy wasn’t to change the outcome, but to create a host of phantom claims about the 2020 presidential race that would infect the nation with doubt, even though the winner was clear and there has been no evidence of mass voter fraud.

“Zombies are dead people walking along the living - this litigation is the same thing,” said Franita Tolson, a professor at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. “In terms of litigation that could change the election, all these cases are basically dead men walking.”

“This really is our version of a polite coup d’etat,” said Thomas Mann, senior resident scholar at the Institute of Governmental Studies at the University of California at Berkeley. “It could end quickly if the Republican Party acknowledged what was going on. But they cower in the face of Trump’s connection with the base.”

“The legal process seems to be unfolding the way it’s supposed to, but the Trump campaign has made clear its desire to throw wrenches in the system wherever it can,” said Lisa Marshall Manheim, a professor at the University of Washington School of Law.

From Zeke Miller’s Wikipedia page (Yale grad, 2011):

On January 20, 2017 Miller incorrectly reported that President Trump had removed the bust of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. from the Oval Office. Miller later issued a correction and tweeted taking responsibility for his mistake. He apologized in person, via email, and on Twitter. Miller also asked a White House advisor to pass along his apology to the president.[8]

He is currently the President of the White House Correspondents’ Association.[9]

My lefty friends are now replying to my election challenge posts with Bad Orange Man and “You’re crazy,” so they’re no longer saying “no evidence.”. They’re worried for sure.

The Democrats spent two years and millions of dollars investigating baseless claims that Russia and President Trump rigged the 2016 election. Joe Biden was counseled to refuse conceding no matter what. Twenty years ago this very day, Al Gore was fighting for recounts in Florida. Democrat rising star Stacey Abrams has still not conceded her 50,000 vote loss in Georgia.

I don't want to hear it!

Personally, I hope President Trump never concedes no matter who is inaugurated next January. He owes you people nothing.

The ‘Rats did nothing but throw wrenches into the system from the start of Trump’s term, including a baseless and vapid impeachment that was done for no other reason than to embarrass Trump, doing immeasurable harm to he country in the process. The AP never complained about that.

“baseless”, “unfounded”, “no evidence”

Such “journalism”. I suppose if you’ve never looked to the sky you could claim it isn’t blue - because you’re not interesting in the truth so you deliberately don’t look.

That there’s mountains of evidence that they wish to ignore just makes them look more and more foolish. Who believes these fools? ...I guess there’s still lots of them.

BUT - with SC oversight - it’s going to get blown wide open. I’ll enjoy watching them grind their teeth.

There's those over used 'baseless' and 'unfounded' words again....

“This really is our version of a polite coup d’etat,” said Thomas Mann....

The technique comes up so often, we should call it Alinsky's 14th rule.... "Always accuse the enemy of the exact malfeasance that you yourself are doing."

Answer: None.

ap is the MOST biased so-called news service ever. TASS of the Cold War era runs a distant second.

Remember,
The media covered the election.
The media reported the results.
The media declared a winner.
At what point does the media certify the results.

Everyone of us already share this view.

But how about this, The media is entertainment. They are showing their viewers the story they demand. Fox, decided to market to a different audience, leaving us cheated on and dumped.

The media is blatantly at war with conservatism, mildly and war with moderates and all in for socialism.....

It seems that today’s media are more like PR firms working for the Democrat party than actual news organizations. But in reality they are puppets of the very elite. Media celebs do not get fired for crimes, unethical conduct or even poor ratings. They get fired when they won’t go all the away for the narrative. Their careers are only jepordized when they question what they are expected to report. There are very few media celebs that are too big to fire. And they, if they stay their course, will end up owning the network. But that requires a Trump 2nd term beginning 2021...

If Biden/Harris take office, the media no longer needs an audience. The government with feed them.

This person is a professor of law? She needs to be fired! She knows that the election process is not over even if one candidate is summarily declared the winner. Not all states have certified the vote in their states so the election process is not over. The process ends when the votes cast by the Electors are opened, read and tallied in Congress. Until then the election process is not over and a Candidate has every right to fight the votes cast if the conditions merit it. In tis case the are merited by the percentage in which the supposed winner won by and the fact that too many constituents are crying foul. Win or lose the elections in the states need to be scrutinized.

How many think this might be a setup for a previous call for the United Nations to come in and monitor our elections? I know that won’t happen but how soon after the inauguration will you hear this? It, the call for the UN to monitor the US election, happened after the Hanging Chad incident.

Until yesterday they hadn't yet even walked up to the plate much less taken a swing.

They've taken about 35 swings before yesterday and just about all have been dismissed or withdrawn. We'll see how Powell does.

Too stupid to be a CCP agent.
Barely qualified to be and unwitting dupe.
Unequivocally unqualified for journalism.
Maintaining a straight face while lying, over qualified.
