Lately, when it comes to racism, whites are America’s new blacks, circa 1900. Cut, a Seattle-based video-maker, is surfing that trend, with a video asking blacks “So what exactly are white people superior at?” The answers aren’t cute or funny – they’re the 2020 equivalent of accusing blacks of eating watermelons and “shufflin’.”
Cut isn’t some fringe company. It boasts 10.1 million YouTube subscribers. Whether funny or serious, its videos are meant to be hip in a leftist way. Here are some recent titles:

You’re gonna get some thoughtful answers. But you’re also gonna get tons and tons of slurs. Doesn’t matter what ethnic group you used.

We are all superior at thinking that we have all of the answers and that everyone else is stupid and should just shut up do what we say. I think that is universal and the root of most of our evils.

That might be a part of it. But given that the survey was posted on YouTube, I think the results are better explained by ‘unfortunately, that’s just how the Internet works’.
Here’s what I mean. You ask a person on the street something, and you’ll likely get a reasoned response. But when that same person is posting anonymously on the Internet, he’s freer to say outlandish things, just for the hell of it.
We see something like that even here on Free Republic. Someone posts something positive about cops, and he’s called a boot-licker. But post something negative about cops, and you’re an Antifa troll.

Concerning the video, I know nothing and have never heard of Cut, but it’s definitely a loaded question, the dislike to like ratio is like 4 to 1, and could be viewed as exposing minorities for their hatred.
Victimhood is a business, and race peddlers stay in the limelight because there’s money to be made by keeping blacks oppressed.

I live in California, where minorities are not exactly scarce. I have come across a few Hispanics who were prejudiced against whites. But I think it is hyperbole to say that whites in 2020 face the same racism as blacks did in 1900.
No Asian or Hispanic-owned restaurant has ever told me “We don’t serve your kind here”.
No hotel has refused me a room on the basis of my race.
No employer or landlord has refused me employment or housing on the basis of race.
Nobody has ever tried to stop me from voting.
No one talks about lynching me for marrying an Asian man and thus diluting the purity of the Asian race. The very few people who have had a problem with it have all been white. Seems to me that if the majority of non-white folks really believed whites to be racially inferior they’d give me flak for contaminating a man of color with my white genes.
A few ignorant comments made by a few ignorant people do not systematic discrimination make.
after what weve seen the past year?? Ya!! Youre damn straight racism is alive and well!! And until a certain race starts cleaning up it’s own animals, racism is going to get even worse...
