Australia subsidizes all their domestic airlines. So do we, if you think about it. We just handed them a big fat check for a ton of cash and it’s hardly the first.
Qantas is a publicly traded company on the ASX. Sell any shares you have and refuse to buy their tickets.
PING
I hope the US is too. Do you want people from other countries entering the US without any screening? I sure don't. It's one of the reasons I support building the wall. We have every right (as does every sovereign nation) to place whatever restrictions we please on who enters our country.
Again, if that condition is an issue, don't visit the Canary Islands.
What if you’ve had covid? Isn’t that even better than a vax?
I’m glad you’ll be able to smile and preach Capitalism as they slowly tighten the noose.
I’m trying to understand your position here.
Should sovereign nations not be allowed to set conditions on foreign visitors entering?
Should private businesses not be allowed to set conditions on those wishing to use their services?
I’m in favor of secure borders, national sovereignty, and private property rights. How is any of that a problem?
“Keep in mind if you are not aware of it that the vaccine makers are EXEMPT from ANY liability.”
The German thalidomide drug maker is still in business. The American Gardasil drug manufacturer is still in business. Merck.
Covidiot tyranny!
My hot air balloon will get me there in 60 days if the winds are kind.
Highest population densities...
11 Bangladesh 1,116/km² 2,890/mi² 164,689,383 147,570 km²
174 United States 35/km² 91/mi² 331,002,651 9,372,610 km²
Not to mention sanitation conditions.
First it started with a 15 day breather.
Then it went to a lockdown.
Then restrictions after the lockdown
Then mandatory tests before you are allowed to travel
Then mandatory vaccinations before you are allowed to travel
What’s coming next?
All being done as our leaders go maskless, dine with large groups at fancy restaurants, cheer on protestors who gather maskless in large groups but hold the same political views, get their hair done, fly without a mask, send their kids to private schools that stay open while they close the public schools or force children to learn remotely, giving every appearance that they personally aren’t afraid of this terrible virus.
All in the name of a disease that kills less than 1% of the most vulnerable segment of the population and almost nobody young and school age.
It isn’t about secure borders, national sovereignty and private property rights. It’s about control. That’s the problem.
Ted Kennedy should have had one of those.
“4. Medicines like Hydroxychloroquine, which have proven to work, are withheld from Americans”
Hatfill (yes I know his history) discusses that in the last 15 minutes of Bannon’s War Room today with regards to its use in Bangladesh as a preventive. AMAZING.
(I’d link the November 24, 2020 program but cannot find it.)
If Trump is President, this won’t be happening in the US. If Biden is President and Democrats control Congress, you can be damn sure this policy will spread like a wildfire thru all of the US airlines.
Men with microscopes, Dominion...(Orson said it right at the beginning)
‘Should private businesses not be allowed to set conditions on those wishing to use their services?’
ask that guy who didn’t want to bake a cake for a gay wedding...
Well, will not be flying Qantas in the near future. And the reality is that modern airplanes do a fantastic job at filtering air. Southwest, for one, uses HEPA filters in their 737s. Would not be surprised if most airlines do that.
