Mark my words-whether Trump is able to pull this election farce out of the fire or not, they (The Left and the Deep State) are going to do all they can going forward into the future, with a steady drumbeat of negativity and criticism via official government outlets, media, education, literature, and entertainment, to tar Donald Trump as lawless, racist, sexist, criminal, xenophobic, a nazi, a fascist, you name it.
The best analogy is what was done to Joseph McCarthy by the left, beginning during his last term as a Senator and extending to today.
Their malignant tarring of an American hero (and he was) has been so effective and complete that even today, Republicans and many conservatives (even many here on Free Republic) mouth the words “McCarthyism” and feel the need to label McCarthy as a bad man, something to be avoided, a regrettable episode in American history.
They are going to do the same thing to President Trump. And we have many on our side that are going to help them do this.
His name will be mud. They will teach about him in schools and write books about him comparing him to Hitler.
I would say they would compare him to Mao and Stalin, but the Left admires Mao and Stalin too much to tar him with a comparison to Trump. But Hitler will be okay.

Yep. Which is EXACTLY why I switched from the GOPe/UniParty to Independent. They’ll never get another penny from this old boy. I will contribute to specific conservative candidates, but the GOPe/UniParty can go kiss my azz.
And this persecution and tarring will go on long into the future, long after Trump and many of us have passed from this earth.

I’m not sure that it’s cowardice to not commit to that until the time comes.
The FBI is doing the same thing that local LEOs were doing during the riots, so the government, itself, is not on the right side of this.
Second, Trump can still prevail in court and remain in office.
Third, the GOP can take back the House, retain the Senate, and win back several State legislatures, to institute reforms.
