GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Meijer is limiting liquor purchases as Michiganders gear up for the Thanksgiving holiday.
The grocery retailer is limiting spirit purchases to two bottles of each item, WPBN/WGTU reports. The limit doesn’t apply to beer, wine or giftsets.
Meijer spokesperson Frank Guglielmi told the TV station the move is meant to insure against shortages that would leave some shoppers without ingredients for their holiday cocktails.
Don’t forget 375ML,750ML,1L,1.75L of each Brand/Flavor.
STOOPID goobiner !!!

Good point.
Under Trump, we were fighting China.
Under Biden, we will become China.
Nice little serfs, living quiet lives. With our heads down. Doing as we’re told. Being grateful for what little we’re allowed to have.
With a mask on, of course.
It’s one store chain’s rule, not the gov’s.
Meijer is big in MI, and their stores are big and compete directly with Walmart. Good meat there.
They’re trying not to sell out of booze before tomorrow, which is a big drinking night, to not anger customers. Their stores, their choice.
I agree...unfortunately
They are making hell for us now, and Trump is still POTUS. They have been causing severe problems for months, with Trump as POTUS. It really doesn’t matter anymore who is President, the Left controls the mob no matter what.
What does alcohol have to do with Covid? I’m failing to see the connection.
Could you not buy 2 bottles of wine, put it in your car and go back in and buy 2 more bottles. Oh, and here’s a thought, couldn’t you go to the store down the street and buy another 2 bottles?
Geez, stupid on steroids.
Drink moderately when you drink. Stay rational. Stay healthy. Stay alive. Enjoy life.

Drink as much as you please. Not
a wise thing to do but it’s that freedom thing.
Is the Nat’l Liquor board (if that’s what it’s called) saying that there’s a shortage?
One thing you can say about this plannedemic is that Covid is a virus that understands and respects a curfew!
Isn’t the government awesome! They will limit what you can buy, for your benefit! I love big brother!
I took care of this issue myself when ingredients were aplenty this summer and fall.
Finally, someone else who is more of a big picture person.
Not someone who, say, thinks if we can just get Loeffler and Perdue in in Georgia, we’ll be safe for just a little longer. Lol.
The State of Michigan controls the flow of liquor as each store buys through the State.
You are exactly right. I shop at Meijer almost exclusively since the 70’s. We are 30 minutes east of Grand Rapids. About 5 years ago they did a rearrange at our local store and featured booze prominently, a whole aisle of hard liquors, on one side, and beers and ales on the other. Lots of end caps and displays. I complained to the store manager then that I did not like the prominence. Then last year they started offering digital coupons for booze along with the grocery coupons. The message seems to be stay at home, and drink.
Ahhh...the scent of socialism in the morning.
I know you are` serious. These idiots that voted these governors and representatives in are now about to get their first peak into the reality they have brought on all of us.
Covidism
