she is too cool...watch ya mouth A.O.C....heh
Go get ‘em Lauren!
Excellent. I’m all for bringing back dueling to settle disputes between Congress critters. If nothing else, it will add some entertainment value.
Amusing antidote about Shooters grill in Rifle Colorado. On vacation I went out of my way to go there and have a meal. I just wanted to eat, but there with patriots. While eating a few were armed as myself. Most were not armed unless concealed as was I.
The most wonderful lady and now representative most graciously allowed a pic of her and I with her girls.
It does not get much better than that!
Most of the patrons were just enjoying a good meal and did not care whom was armed or not armed. I suspect many were armed.
If you are a bad guy do not do bad in that most wonderful lady’s restaurant. It will end badly for the bad guy.
just curious...how was the food??
I had a hamburger and Fries and a salad. The portions were very generous and tasted excellent. The prices were most reasonable. Many locals were in the place having a good meal.
That is the sign of a good place to eat.
Wow! She’s going all Davy Crockett already!
This could be fun to watch...
several senators and such have ccw licenses
i would expect they are carrying there
Regards,
“CLEANUP Row 14, seat 27 and 28. Thank You.” And now back to the discussion of the Bill at hand.

This should not be news.
However, DC-issued CCW permits do seem (maybe) to allow an exception to those regulations, and special approval by two Sergeants at Arms might allow further a exception.
On Capitol Hill, one could speculate that "maybe" "seem," and "might" could also be considered as big giant loopholes.
I recall that one now-retired Senator was quoted saying that he carried a derringer in each of his jacket pockets. But the circumstances were not clear.
Also, not too long ago, the staffer of a now-retired Senator was actually arrested on Capitol Hill, despite meeting the transport regulations mentioned above. He was carrying unloaded firearms in a gun bag, I think the Senator's. Charges were eventually dropped.
—IIRC, in the distant past for many posters, senators such as Orrin Hatch,(R. Utah), were appointed deputy U.S. Marshals which allowed possession and carry of firearms in D.C.—
Great news!!
