Pennsylvania Nursing Home (LTC) death stats November 23
Data from PA Department of Health swept at midnight November 22-23. This is a two day update.
LTC deaths = 6270 (TWO day increase of 4, yeah, right!)
Total deaths = 9870 (increase of 41 + 28 = 69)
Cumulative LTC deaths as percentage of total = 63.5%
The trough and wave pattern continues. Friday brought an “adjustment” of 87 alleged new LTC deaths following two days of low numbers.
Such low numbers back around Veteran’s Day were followed with days (November 12 and 13) on which the LTC death subset was greater than the reported total deaths.
