A source who spoke to Breitbart News on background suggested that the team had hoped to work with her, but that Powell’s public claims had gone beyond the scope of the evidence they had seen and believed they could prove in court.
Powell had pursued a theory that Dominion voting machines, operating with Smartmatic software, were manipulable and had been responsible for switching votes from Trump to Democratic challenger Joe Biden. She also alleged that Dominion had worked with foreign governments, including Venezuela, and produced an affidavit purporting to support that allegation.
She had not yet provided evidence that votes had actually been changed, however, and has faced increasing public criticism.

I get that she is livid, and likely has a great intuition as to the voting thefts that have occured, but dammit, we need results!

If that is what happened, then Powell may be one of our fake-conservative grifters, a species I am unsure most FReepers have totally acknowledged as existing. I’ve seen a great many of these, most of them went dormant after 2016 or joined the Trump train eventually (originally they were all anti-Trump). And I don’t mean the Bill Kristol types. I mean the weirdo grifters on our side who peddle in disinformation and “owning the libs” while accomplishing nothing. Ted Cruz was a text book example, then he reformed (at least in my sight) as the years went on. Though Cruz will likely revert to being a useless grifter once Trump is gone.
At this point, I’m hanging my hat on one thing: putting everything on the line to advocate for secession here in my native Texas.
Hopefully Trump pulls this out and defeats the fraud, or, even better, calls us to the street for an armed revolution. But I don’t see that happening.

Unfortunately, desperate times can propel such fringe characters into the limelight. I think that is what is going on with Powell, unless news suddenly breaks proving all of her claims.
It is a circus and at this point I am tuning out until such “breaking news” comes. I am not waiting around for the “tick tocks” and “BOOMs” or the “watch this clip of Ted Cruz OWNING the libs” sorts of events anymore.
Jordan Sekulow said in an interview on Saturday they were filing a case on Monday in Georgia that would be jaw dropping. Is that something different from what Sidney Powell is doing? I assumed they were basically the same thing. Is Lin Wood on the “team?” I don’t care who is on the team. Send in any warrior willing to and capable of getting the job done. I thought Rudy and his cases were the smoke and mirrors while they moved the brigades into position. I’ll be interested to see the strategy next week. Maybe Sidney Powell thinks there are moles outside her team. Who could blame her. The whole political system is a den of vipers.
