Probably because they’re skeptical about her being able to adequately prove her claims. There’s no indication here about whether or not Trump agrees with Ellis.I’m guessing that if doesn’t he’ll let us know. And, if she’s not being paid by the Trump campaign, who’s paying the bill for her?
She had to move off in this direction because this affects the whole country not just Trump. It is a wise thing to do. People who can’t understand need to think more carefully.

There maybe a conflict of interest there that prevents Sidney Powell from being officially tied to the campaign. Remember, she is seeking a pardon for Michael Flynn so that could be construed as a conflict of interest.
I guess it depends on what it actually means, and the reason for the statement.
