This “research” borders on being a hoax. Healthy living is a fine balance... too much of anything is generally bad. Oxidative stress causes damage to the cells in our bodies, as well as strand breaks in DNA.
Oxygen is like so many other natural paradoxes. We need it to live but it also can be very damaging to our bodies at a celular level. Do we need to be reminded that bleach works mostly through oxidation. It makes our white underwear look clean, but it also destroys them.
Our friend came down with a serious case of pneumonia recently not from coronavirus, but from being a fanatical mask wearer. Her old compromised immune system could not handle the excess stress of constantly rebreathing the bacteria and viral particles from the petri dish she had on her face nearly 24/7. She ended up on oxygen therapy for an extended period of time and the oxygen did serious damage to her lungs. Now she is stuck in a nursing home until her lungs recover.
