Georgia pastor Raphael Warnock, a pro-abortion Democrat running for the U.S. Senate, promised Tuesday to “always fight” to keep the killing of unborn babies in abortions legal in America.
Warnock, the senior pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church, is challenging Sen. Kelly Loeffler, apro-life Republican, in a high-stakes runoff race in Georgia. Neither Loeffler nor Warnock received more than 50 percent of votes Nov. 3, pushing the race into a runoff election in January.
Because Republicans hold such a narrow majority in the U.S. Senate, Loeffler’s seat is key to stopping Democrats from expanding late-term abortions and forcing taxpayers to pay for unborn babies’ abortion deaths.
Though Warnock is a Christian pastor, he supports abortion on demand and has the endorsement of the largest abortion group in America, Planned Parenthood.
This week, he touted his pro-abortion stance on Twitter, Christianity Daily reports. On Tuesday, he wrote, “I will always fight for reproductive justice,” a term that includes abortion on demand.
A day later, he added, “I’m a pro-choice pastor, and I believe that a hospital room is way too small for a woman, her doctor, and the United States government.”
If elected, Warnock would help Democrat leaders force taxpayers to fund elective abortions, pack the Supreme Court with pro-abortion activist judges and force states to allow viable unborn babies to be killed in late-term abortions.
Loeffler responded by exposing Warnock’s radical anti-life, anti-Christian stance.
“Your version of ‘justice’ is using the Bible to justify killing innocent babies,” Loeffler said. “My version of justice is protecting innocent life and the most vulnerable among us.”
In an August interview, Warnock told podcast host Tim Bryan that the decision to abort an unborn baby should be up to a woman “and her doctor and her minister.” He said he believes abortions are part of the “human agency and freedom” that God gives people.
Pro-life advocates and Christian leaders have expressed outrage at Warnock’s attempts to justify killing unborn babies as a matter of faith and justice.
“Murdering a child is the antithesis of justice,” Live Action founder Lila Rose wrote in response. “How dare you claim the name of Christ while you advocate for the ‘right’ to slaughter His children, made in His image. Your words are Satanic.”
Christian singer Danny Gokey and former NFL player Ben Watson also slammed Warnock for misleading people about the value of human life.
“Killing boys & girls in the womb is not a brave or heroic act like the left loves to portray,” Gokey wrote. “Everyone of us needed someone to fend & fight for us when we couldn’t defend ourselves. Most confusingly-abortion has murdered millions of woman & blacks-The ones they say they fight for.”
Watson added: “Pastor, Equal access to kill a son or daughter is NOT justice. JUSTICE is the equitable distribution of punishment AND protection. JUSTICE is rooted in the dignity of every human endowed by their Creator. One cannot truly fight for JUSTICE while simultaneously denying it.”
The narrow Republican majority in the U.S. Senate is in jeopardy because of the Georgia runoff election.
If pro-abortion Democrat Joe Biden wins the presidency and Democrats take control of the Senate, there would be nothing to stop them from passing radical pro-abortion laws that allow unborn babies to be aborted for any reason up to birth and force taxpayers to fund their deaths. Democrat leaders also could pack the U.S. Supreme Court with activist judges who would keep abortion on demand legal for decades.
Loeffler has a 100-percent pro-life voting record. She also co-sponsored the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which would prohibit abortions after 20 weeks on unborn babies capable of feeling pain, and the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which would protect newborns from infanticide.
March for Life Action, Susan B. Anthony List, National Right to Life and other leading pro-life groups are working hard to support Loeffler and U.S. Sen. David Perdue, a pro-life Republican who also is facing a runoff election against pro-abortion Democrat Jon Ossoff.
A recent Remington Research Group poll shows Perdue and Loeffler are ahead but only by small margins, Newsweek reports. According to the poll, voters chose Perdue over Ossoff by 50 percent to 46 percent; an additional 4 percent were undecided. The poll found Loeffler had a 1-percent lead over Warnock (49 percent to 48 percent); 3 percent of voters remain undecided.
I thought he was pastor of the first church of Satan.
Choose wisely, Georgians.
the article has it wrong. Whatever he is he is not a Christian.
Well, there ya have it. The Party of Life versus the Party of Death.
Choose wisely, Georgians.
What is this Party of Life you speak of? It’ can’t be the GOP beauase they have happily funded the PP abortion mills for decades.
Total Marxist.
Okay.
Raphael Warnock is a racist POS!
He has no problem killing unborn black babies.
God is laughing at him and his followers.
1 Why do the nations ragea
and the peoples plot in vain?
2 The kings of the earth take their stand
and the rulers gather together,
against the LORD
and against His Anointed One:b
3 “Let us break Their chains
and cast away Their cords.”
4 The One enthroned in heaven laughs;
the Lord taunts them.
5 Then He rebukes them in His anger,
and terrifies them in His fury:
6 “I have installed My King on Zion,
upon My holy mountain.”
It is the MAGA Party.
He may be a pastor, but he is not saved, nor is he a Christian. He and his followers are mocking God and the fires of Hell await them.
He’s nuts!
As long as Kemp and the sorry ass SOS are controlled by big money from Dominion there is a 100% chance both the fraud pastor and soy boy win the elections.
Warnock’s extremism is the gift that keeps on giving. Why should Loeffler have any difficulty in defeating him?
ChINO. Christian in name only.
Something needs to change as far as getting to the minds of so many would be voters long ago when they still had a soul.
The evildoers no longer try to hide their satanic agenda,
I agree, his ads are pretty good however.
IMO I cannot see him or the child winning without major vote fraud - watch Dekalb, Fulton, Cobb, Gwinnett, and Henry.
Damn metro counties are corrupt to the core.
“Georgia pastor Raphael Warnock, ... promised Tuesday to “always fight” to keep the killing of unborn babies in abortions legal in America.”
Born babies too I would bet.
He is a POS running against a POS !! Hold your nose Georgia and vote for her because she has an “R” by her name.
