This week, thousands of Georgians sat at tables in rooms large and small across the state’s 159 counties and counted nearly 5 million paper ballots by hand, in what officials called a statewide audit of the general election outcome. Though the process ended by confirming President-elect Joe Biden’s lead, certified by the state on Friday, expert observers across the nation familiar with the state and its history with election technology looked on, feeling what one described as “horrified.”
These observers included computer scientists, cybersecurity analysts, an adviser to Congress on election integrity, and the statistician who invented the method of auditing elections that Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said the state was carrying out.
Their reactions to the noble efforts of exhausted election workers were not, they underlined, due to evidence of wrongdoing, or fraud, or challenges to the election’s legitimacy. Their concerns owed to the process being used, what state officials were calling it, and what this could mean for future attempts to build public trust in election results—including on January 5, when voters in Georgia will once again be in the national spotlight, as a special election decides the balance of power in the US Senate.

#Georgia is squarely in our crosshairs for massive election fraud & corruption.
And their governor and SOS are seriously compromised.
No, they said it was a recount which is, by definition, counting the same ballots over again.
No, they said it was a recount which is, by definition, counting the same ballots over again.
EXACTLY

No, no, No. This is not what the article says. This article is griping about the count of all the ballots that was done instead of their preferred “risk-analysis” sampling-type count, which they are trying to say is more “scientific”. The entire problem here is that they counted votes that should never have been counted in the first place — unverified mail-in votes arriving day-of or after-the-election.
Rudy may be very good at the investigation part but they really need to keep him in the background and far away from any microphones.
And just an FYI, in the Telegraph article of the press conference, they showed two pictures of Rudy’s hair color sweating down his face. Yes, he shouldn’t be ‘the face’ of this. Not kidding. That is what the ‘Conservative’ news in Britain thought important.
This writer did not really give me any new insights into the process.
Here is some Georgia data I have collected:
President Race = 4,998,482 votes
Perdue Senate Race = 4,952,175 votes
Loeffler Senate Race = 4,914,361 votes
So 46,000 Georgia voters only voted for President and did not vote for a Senator.
What counties voted for President, but not for a Senator?
Was the undervote for Senator predominately among the ‘mail-in’ ballots?
How many ‘mail-in’ ballots were two names marked for President and thus invalidating the ballot for President?
How many ballots had zero votes for any President candidate?
The so called “recount” did exactly was intended to do. It reinforced the intended narrative that the election was legitimate and that Joe Biden really did get all of those votes. The media are telling the American people that the faux recount proves that the election was honest and what the Trump camp are doing is delusion.
Another fraud and another lie, invented to cover up the theft of the election in the State of Georgia and aided and abetted by the Republican Governor and Secretary of State. Another great accomplishment in the new nation of North Venevuela.
All good questions.
PBS actually did a segment on how vulnerable the GA system is a few weeks before the election.
Why, because the media hates him? He is exactly who needs to be leading this investigation.
Compromised? I would better describe it as bought off RINOs who have abandoned any notion of saving this country so they can line their pockets. Traitors would be a more apt terminology, imho.
It was not a recount or an audit or a re-canvass. It was a hand tally. Totally worthless as are Kemp and Raffensperger. Worthless and corrupt to the core. They both need to go to jail.
Investigating is one thing. But he is not a good at all at the podium, on interview shows, wherever. You need a spokesperson who can clearly and confidently deliver the message. Rudy does not do that. He may have the facts but he sprays them out in all directions and the public can not piece them together and the media certainly won’t help piece them together. So you need somebody who can deliver the message so the public need not rely on the media.
Rudy is a train wreck in front of the cameras.
Glad Repubs always joint the groupthink of the left at the first volley, beats fighting back. You think they won’t destroy the next spokesman the same way and you will join the train and give the same talking points.
Take a couple of minutes and look/listen to the moron that is our governor, and the crook that is the Sec of State and you will understand.
The press keeps using “audit” and “recount” interchangeably, as does the corrupt SOS. It was nothing more than a recount.
What the SOS claims is an audit was just a RLA, testing of a few machines to make sure they work.
“””It was not a recount or an audit or a re-canvass. It was a hand tally”””
Was it really a hand tally?
From what I observed, two people were sitting at a table, one person called out either Trump’s or Biden’s name, and the second person put the ballot in Trump pile or the Biden pile.
Did those two people then hand count the number of votes in each pile?
Or did they take each pile and run it through Dominion’s voting counting machine again?
What I have found to be glaringly missing in this Georgia recount is a detailed description/presentation by the Georgia election officials describing exactly what happened at each stage during the recount.
One would think the leadership would want to make such a presentation to quell rumors of impropiety.
I would like to know why Dominion reps were the ones scanning ballots in Floyd County. RAV has video of the election official there on video saying this. https://twitter.com/TalkMullins/status/1329616904982499330?s=20
