The bankruptcy of the Catalan electronic voting company Scytl is approaching its outcome. The Irish group Paragon will take control of the technology company, after months of negotiations with the bank to find a solution to its liquidation, according to ARA from sources close to the operation. Yesterday was the deadline the judge had given the creditors to reach an agreement on Paragon’s proposal, which, as he advanced The vanguard, was the only offer in this phase. Scytl was dragging a debt of 75 million euros, of which creditors will end up collecting only 3 in return for the brands and licenses that will remain the buyer, say the same voices. The Irish group – which bought 80% of Service Point in 2015 – offers to collect the sum in three deferred payments in 2021, 2022 and 2023. The other option would be to collect compensation in Service Point shares.
The bankruptcy of Scytl attracted five banks (Sabadell, Santander, BBVA, Bankinter and Deutsche Bank) and a public financial institution, the Catalan Institute of Finance, which had lent funds to the compan
However, this sale is a before and after in the management of the company, one of the eternal promises of the Catalan technological ecosystem. Scytl was born in 2001 as a spin-off of the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Despite having managed to face the giant of the sector in Spain, Indra, Scytl stumbled upon the business of elections in developing countries. After some attempts to find new revenue in the elections for the private sector and make some changes at the top, Scytl filed for bankruptcy in late 2019. It has since conspired to find an investor to save the maximum the initial project.

Globalist shell game.
Who gets the assets?
someone mentioned that today
there is an interesting thing that happens with penny stock pump and dumps
too complicated to go into detail but a similar shell game..with the same players deeply hidden.and sometimes same lawyers.
i always wonder who is really behind these pump and dumps that pretty much run amok. Oh sure, every so often front players get in trouble..but not the guys on the deep back end.
perhaps same or similar players do the voting machines and the pump and dumps
I didn’t know Paragon was a company from Ireland but I do know many globalists have become ‘domiciled’ in Ireland.
Who owns Paragon? That would be telling.

Washington (AFP) - The United States on Thursday accused the World Health Organization of putting politics first by ignoring Taiwanese warnings over China’s coronavirus outbreak, laying out its case against the UN body. The State Department said the WHO was too late in sounding the alarm over COVID-19, showed too much deference to China and questioned why it did not pursue a lead from Taiwan. Taiwan, which has succeeded in preventing a major outbreak despite its proximity and ties to China, warned the WHO on December 31 of human-to-human transmission, Vice President Chen Chien-Jen has said. Chen, an epidemiologist, told...

Minister of Health and Welfare Chen Shih-chung yesterday urged the WHO to be honest as the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) published the e-mail it had sent to the world body in December last year alerting it about the risk of an outbreak in China. The WHO on Friday said it received an e-mail from the Ministry of Health and Welfare on Dec. 31 last year, but added that “there was no mention in the message of human-to-human transmission.” During a news conference at the CECC in Taipei yesterday, Chen read out the Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) e-mail to...

Former DOJ official David Kris was picked Friday to oversee the FBI’s reforms of its surveillance procedures in the wake of a damning inspector general’s report. Kris was an ardent defender of the FBI’s surveillance of Carter Page. He was also a vocal critic of Republicans who suggested the FBI misled the surveillance court in its applications to wiretap Page. In one essay, Kris endorsed a suggestion that Rep. Devin Nunes should face obstruction of justice charges. The Justice Department is recommending that former National Security adviser Michael Flynn be sentenced to up to six months in prison for lying to the FBI, telling a court that the former Trump adviser has been uncooperative in recent months. “The sentence should adequately deter the defendant from violating the law, and to promote respect for the law,” the Justice Department wrote in a sentencing memo Tuesday. “It is clear that the defendant has not learned his lesson. He has behaved as though the law does not apply to him, and as if there are no consequences for his actions.”...

Iranian militia leader Hadi al-Amiri, one of several identified as leading an attack on the U.S. embassy in Baghdad on Tuesday, reportedly visited the White House in 2011 during the presidency of Barack Obama. On Tuesday, a mob in Baghdad attacked the U.S. embassy in retaliation against last weekend’s U.S. airstrikes against the Iran-backed Shiite militia Kataib Hezbollah (KH), responsible for killing an American civilian contractor. KH is one of a number of pro-Iran militias that make up the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF/PMU), which legally became a wing of the Iraqi military after fighting the Sunni Islamic State terrorist group....

12 March 2019: CBR Online: Critical Weakness Could Allow “Undetectable Vote Manipulation” on Swiss e-Voting System
by Ed Target
Flaw had been found in 2017 but not fixed…
Cryptographic flaws in an electronic voting system proposed for use in Switzerland would allow “undetectable vote manipulation”, security researchers concluded today.
Sarah Jamie Lewis, Olivier Pereira and Vanessa Teague found that the proposed Swiss e-voting system (built by Barcelona-headquarted Scytl) was open to manipulation owing to weaknesses in how encrypted electronic votes are “shuffled” to protect voter privacy.
The vulnerability could, in the worst case, allow “massive and centralized election fraud” cryptography expert Matthew Green noted...
Bizarrely, SwissPost, which was hoping to support elections across the country using the system, said the error was already identified in 2017.
“However, the correction was not made in full by the technology partner Scytl, which is responsible for the source code. Swiss Post regrets this and has asked Scytl to make the correction in full immediately which they have now done.”
Computer Business Review has called and emailed Scytl requesting an explanation. Scytl’s existing systems have been used to manage over 100,000 electoral events electronically across more than 20 countries, including the USA, Mexico, France, Norway, Switzerland, Austria, BiH and India, the company says...
The system tested also assumes a benign actor on the server side of the system, meaning an authority administrating (or a hacker penetrating) one of the system’s servers could manipulate votes whilst maintaining a clean audit trail.
Their paper, “the use of trapdoor commitments in Bayer-Forth proofs and the implications for the verfiability of the Scytl-SwissPost Internet Voting System” concluded: “A malicious administrator or software provider… could manipulate votes but produce a proof transcript that passes verification.”...

Would seizing the Scytl computers be the only way to establish vote tally manipulation?
I don’t think so. For one thing, Dominion stores its data on Amazon cloud, and federal law enforcement could get access to it. The Utah Data Center which, among other things, stores data relating to cybersecurity, can and does process, “all forms of communication, including the complete documents of private emails, cell phone calls, and Internet searches.”
It could have picked up odd happenings between the overseas offices of the big electronic election services. All the ways the data could be accessed is, frankly, a topic beyond my ken...
Are Trump’s lawyers onto something big or not? We’ll have to see. In April of last year, Democratic congressman Raskin, while challenging private voting systems companies, said, “To say that they don’t have any evidence of any wrongdoing is not to say that nothing untoward happened,” Raskin said. “It’s simply to say that we don’t have the evidence of it.”
I wonder if he’d say that today?
