Original anthem protester Colin Kaepernick is demanding that Pennsylvania authorities release Mumia Abu-Jamal, who was convicted of killing Philadelphia police officer Daniel Faulkner in 1981.
Abu-Jamal, who is serving a life sentence at State Correctional Institution Mahanoy, in Frackville, Pennsylvania, has been a cause célèbre for leftists for decades. Now it appears that the convict has added the former San Francisco 49ers, second-string quarterback, to his list of supporters.
Kaepernick discussed Abu-Jamal during a video conference on Monday, according to NewsBusters.

Hey Colon, you wanna take his place? You move into his cell and he gets your house and girlfriend.
"Huey Percy Newton (February 17, 1942 – August 22, 1989) was an African-American political activist and revolutionary who, along with Bobby Seale, co-founded the Black Panther Party in 1966. He continued to pursue an education, eventually earning a Ph.D. in social philosophy. In 1989 he was shot and killed in Oakland, California. ..."
"As a student at Merritt College in Oakland, Newton became involved in politics in the Bay Area. He joined the Afro-American Association (AAA), became a prominent member of Phi Beta Sigma fraternity, Beta Tau chapter; and played a role in getting the first African-American history course adopted as part of the college's curriculum.
He read the works of Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin, Frantz Fanon, Malcolm X, Mao Zedong, Émile Durkheim, and Che Guevara.
During his time at Merritt College, he met Bobby Seale, and the two organized the Black Panther Party for Self Defense in October 1966."
The Black Liberation Army was an organization that grew out of the Black Panther Party, composed of former Black Panther Party members, operating from about 1971-1980. Another two police officers on the list were murdered by the Weather Underground [1981 Brinks Truck Robbery], a domestic terrorist group with ties to the Black Liberation Army.
Despite this readily available information, today the internet was full of articles criticizing those who were upset by Beyonce’s Super Bowl Halftime performance [a tribute to the cop-killing, communist Black Panthers], and questioning how anyone could be upset over a woman “affirming her blackness.” Their analysis couldn’t have been more off. ...."

The perp was convicted of the crime and sentenced to death. But then his wife started making T-shirts in his honor and got some Hollywood types to clamor for his innocence.
He got his sentence commuted to life in prison. I bet they are trying to free that turd who killed my cousin. The undertaker could not remove the look of fear in his face that was frozen after death. It was the saddest funeral I have ever been to.
