The British government may “allow” the people to have up to five days of relaxed coronavirus restrictions over Christmas — at the cost of spending most of January under lockdown.
Britons have been threatened with the prospect of a Christmas lockdown for months. Media rumours circulating in recent days claim that the government may allow freedom for five short days over the festive period for people to gather in family “bubbles”.

Did anybody see the interview with Ted Turner I don’t know how old it is? He talks about controlling the population for managing them. This is an example of carrot and stick right out of communism control techniques.
The Government “may let” Brits...good grief! They need a freaking Civil War.
This sort of BS is proof that this is all window dressing. You don’t just allow people to leave their homes in exchange for a lockdown during a true, real pandemic. If this virus was as devastating as they purport, lockdowns would not only be stringent, they’d be showing progress. So far, progress is stunted, at best.

It could be worse. You could live in Michigan and be in your “Safe Social Pod.” Bubbles & Pods...sounds like a witches cauldron.
So, I ask, what is the science behind these lock-downs?
Will lock-downs reduce the numbers who get COVID?
The answer is, they might—but for a small period of time. Eventually, all those who have human to human interactions will get COVID.
The science says it is just a matter of time.
Well, that is if we look at how virii spread from host to host... Keeping EVERYONE apart will stop the spread, but even in the most vigorously enforced lock-down, you'll still have people who need to be near to other people—police, emergency medical, food distribution, etc.
There is no scientific reason to say we can't all lock ourselves up and isolate for a while EXCEPT for human psychology, and of course, the care of babies, children, invalids, old people, etc. and all the other things we have to do together.
Since doing so—stopping everything and complete isolation—is the only REAL way to stop the virus, and we can't do that, the science tells us the virus will spread.
Lock-downs won't reduce the ultimate spread of COVID-19.
Reality check.
COVID-19 is airborne.
That means, “in the air, everywhere”.
It is ENDEMIC.
We will ALL get exposed..over and over.
MANY of us will “test positive”, mostly without symptoms.
SOME of us will be “symptomatic”, and a subset will be really sick.
And (unfortunately) a FEW of us will die.
This is NOT the Bubonic plague.
This is NOT the Spanish Influenza.
Tear off that face diaper.
Breathe deeply. Inhale some COVID.
Inhale some more. And some more.
Build up your immune system.
And LIVE!
